Wth was Leury doing? Jeez.

Wtf...resting TA today? After today...he's only 3 ABs from NOT qualifying for title. So stupid...unless he's hurt.
-
With his HR in the 9th just now, TA qualifies with PAs and is sitting tied with Lamaheiu at .331! 431 PAs needed to qualify after tonight and Tommy just had his 432nd.

If my math is correct, with 4 PAs tonight for TA he qualifies for the batting title race. He sits at .328 with Lamaheiu at .331. ??

Geez, Ricky. How can he possibly be tasked with managing what's coming? Seems like a good guy, but he's an awful manager. Bogaerts hitting like .500 against Colome with a base open? Wtf. -
Wtf. Just wtf.

Leury needs to go on the IL. It's been multiple games of him limping. It's hurting the team in the field, too. -

He's been pretty much untouchable for a loooong stretch. This was due. Let's see how he bounces back...wether the next few innings, or the next game. It's only the 1st inning and he's earned a bit of trust. -

Cease wasn't even on my mind. If there is not ONE better option than the guy who started today, THAT is a problem... regardless of time frames. -

What fringey pitching prospect(s) could we give a start to other than this garbage? Ya know, the kind of pitcher who probably won't get a shot once our quality, young arms are healed. Asking for a friend. -

So there's no one better than this guy...anywhere...minors or the street? I "expect" more out of a big league pitcher. Not a tough ask. -

I think we can be both on cloud nine and pissed at the situation. There are fixes for marching bums out to the mound. It can be addressed and isn't right now. -

Enough is enough...time to bring up better pitching or trade for it. Wrap this rebuild up. All the good vibes of crawling back to .500 gets flushed down the toilet when we have to roll out bums like Despaigne. THE TIME IS NOW. -

He should've been pulled 3 hitters ago. That being said, Lopez needs to head to the pen or minors. A 6.60 ERA isn't gonna cut it. -
