The Sox have been so ordinary lately.

Cleveland must love getting well on the Sox. We're letting them stay in the race. They suck against everybody else.

It looks like Joe Borchard still might make some money at this game. I see he has five homers and is hitting about .240. He's making some progress at least. He seemed like a nice guy with his comments in the papers throughout the years. I hope he makes it. He's actually showing more promise at the plate than Anderson. Could Joe field a lick? If so I'd rather have him on the team than BA.

Snopek certainly sucked as did that stiff shortstop Royce Clayton. But Brian is certainly a horrific hitter, in that class.

That one good year resulted in a World championship, chicago's first since 1846. For that I like him and give him a break until he starts the season 0-9 like the Royals' s*** ass pitchers. Shoot me. I like him.

Garland will never be good in the eyes of many who post on message boards. It's the way it always will be for whatever reason. We should have 2 threads each game he pitches. One game thread should just be the "Garland sucks" thread.

If Brian Anderson could hit .230 he'd be in the game and we'd be in the lead. He can't and we're losing.

That would not be right, chi, but adding Freddie, Dye, Konerko and AJ and maybe Crede would be OK. No way those guys would get named by Torre. Thome would be in obviously with any skipper and Jenks likely too, but that's it.

They don't deserve undeserved bids, but guys who might get ignored, like Dye, and AJ, now will get in the game.

Did you see this comment from Oz in the Sun Times when asked if Maggs should be an all-star reserve? I had to love his loyalty to his Sox. "The numbers are there, the opportunity is there, yeah,'' Guillen said. ''But if I have to pick between Maggs -- or anybody else -- in front of my players, it will be a tough call because I have to pick my players.'' Maggs went on to say he'd love to play for Ozzie in the all star game. Is there any question Ozzie is the freshest face in baseball in decades? You have to love this guy. And it's going to be great to see Dye, et. all in the all star game with Ozz adding the reserves.

Crede also got on base and scored the winning run. What's your man hate of Crede all about. The guy is a stud. You could have a lot worse third basemen out there.

He sounds no better than Mack to me. .282 right now, one homer (no power), 11 rbis (sucks for 181 at bats) and one steal. What value is he? Play Anderson over this guy.

It would be nice to see Detroit fall apart. They are scary. Thanks to Maggs for hitting into a DP (and Bobby for making that happen) and thanks to Cintron for his clutch homer. Obviously we could have lost 2 in a row instead of won both of em.

My gawd. Enough of these posts and I'll think the Sox internet fans are as bad as the nominds who post on the college boards. Give me a break. He is not perfect. He is still a great player, a likeable player and a ballsy player. He comes right back and gets on base and scores the winning run and Jose still gets the win. I can understand burying Anderson or somebody who has yet to do it, but Crede is a god, small g.

Yeah, punch him in the face for showing some balls and immediately getting on base after making a rare error and scoring the eventual winning run and letting Jose still get the win. Crede is a stud. I'm impressed he came right back and got on base instead of popping up. That is the sign of a gamer. He's not perfect ... shoot him.
