4/16 7:10 pm Royals v. White Sox (Lopez v. Lopez)
I guess it is much nicer beating the Royals than the alternative, but the Royals are soooooo lousy.

Machado drops bat by catcher's feet??
Manny Machado has two more RBI than Nelson Cruz. Hmmmm. Manny is human. He's .267, 4 HR, 8 RBI. So he has nine bases on balls. Don't try to tell me his advanced stats are amazing. As of mid-April, Manny is meh right now. Feel better? Now Harper is .268, 4 HR and 10 RBI with a ton of walks. OK, I wanted him more than Manny anyway. Moncada is .323, 3 HR, 14 RBI, just four walks. And Timmy is .453, 3 HR, 10 RBI with one walk. Folks, I still despise Hahn for the rebuild, but cmon, the Manny love is a bit misguided considering how much $$ he's making compared to our stat stuffers Timmy and Yoan!!!! Go Sox. (how do you like greg looking up all this stuff?? Impressive greg?

HAVE PATIENCE
I wish people would realize Sox vs. Royals games mean nothing, like spring training games. Yes these two teams are that bad. Fathom could have homered off Boxberger who lobbed one in there vs. Castillo. No offense, I want to win every game and I'm glad we won, especially against KC, but you have to realize KC is a different kind of bad. Nothing we see in a Sox-KC game should be taken as reality.

Tax Day: Sox v. Royals (P: E. Santana)
It's a long season. Let's see how he does. Although I despise the talk of flipping players. I do hate this tank/rebuild stuff. We have to go through this kind of year again next year? Great.

Tax Day: Sox v. Royals (P: E. Santana)
Boxberger and Erwin both lobbed pitches up there on the homers that Fathom could have jacked out of the park. Wow that Boxberger guy is a stiff. Ditto poor Erwin S.

Tax Day: Sox v. Royals (P: E. Santana)
Finally I get to watch Eloy bat then leave. Got some betta things to do. Eloy first. Then bye bye folks. Greg hating on the Sox in 2019.

Tax Day: Sox v. Royals (P: E. Santana)
Hey did you guys notice the most famous tank of all, Philly Sixers, has finally angered their fans into a greg-like frenzy? They were BOOING unmercifully during the first playoff game loss to Brooklyn. This tank stuff is pretty annoying, folks. It's still April and our tankers are playing some horrific baseball. We did take 2 of 3 in NY but woulda lost Game One had we played the final 3 innings. Explain the Philly tank, folks .Not working.

He's this year's Shields. Only worse.

Tax Day: Sox v. Royals (P: E. Santana)
I guess I'm in a grumpy mood, but look at the pathetic crowd. And it's all baseball's fault. Who in their right minds want to see Chicago play the KC Royals? My gosh how could the owners agree many years ago to play teams in their own division so many times. It's absurd. There's just no reason for a Chicagoan to even consider going to tonight's game. There can't be more than 5,000 fans in that stadium tonight. Is there 5000?

Tax Day: Sox v. Royals (P: E. Santana)
Geezus they called that a hit. Look, if a guy hits it right into the shift it is an ERROR. This isn't Little League. he hit it right into the shift.

Tax Day: Sox v. Royals (P: E. Santana)
That is an error, folks.

Tax Day: Sox v. Royals (P: E. Santana)
Do the Sox strike out too much or is this modern baseball? Home run or K is all hitters want?

Tax Day: Sox v. Royals (P: E. Santana)
How is that Goose Island section doing at 100 bucks a seat? Anybody sat out there yet? Is it going to make it?

White Sox v Yankees 12:05pm Rodon Day
Fathom can be positive. He's not that negative. Anderson with the bomb. Man, most of our rebuild guys are doing fine. Hope they are on fire during June, July when it gets hot out.

Tired of seeing Yolmer Sanchez in starting lineup
He definitely helps the team lose and that has seemed to be the goal for a while now. To pile up losses. He's not valuable to winning but is very valuable to losing. He's not good.

Sox @ Yankees, 4/13, 12:05
Can you imagine how weird it's gonna be when we become a .500ish team again? It's almost like we are playing in a different league. It's gonna be so weird when we get good again.
-
Sox @ Yankees, 4/13, 12:05
You can say what you wish but cmon, you'd do that trade again? I think you are one of the few who would.

Sox @ Yankees, 4/13, 12:05
Good thing last night got rained out late. I'm serious. Our team is abysmal.
-
The Rick Hahn Dynasty
Actually that Eloy trade might nullify the one in which we lost you-know-who to the Padres. If Eloy is a Hall of Famer, that's an incredible feather for Hahn. Q has been a capable pitcher but he's no Sandy Koufax.
-
And that’s a White Sox Winner!
Am I wrong in saying Dave Winfield? I see it.
-
Sox @ Yankees, 4/12, 6:05 CT
All hail to Eloy. All hail to the hail. Had it not got rained out, our bullpen woulda had to hold that lead in NY. Hmmmm. Oh well, Eloy mighta hit a third homer as well and we mighta won, 12-10. GO Eloy!

What Now?
Yes but the fact we were so lousy at home is not a good sign ... again.
-
Worried about reylo?
In answer to the thread title ... YES.
-
What Now?
Exactly. I just hope the fans stay away in droves. Cmon Sox fans. Go to one game this year if you must, but that's it. Don't support this nonsense. They're not moving. Forbes put that talk to rest.

What Now?
Great post. Some fans will always have "wait til next year" to fall back on during hard times.
