How could the KC Chiefs be this bad? It's 35-3 Buffalo and KC drops to 0-2. I know this is the NFL, but the Chiefs' attendance is going to really suck if this continues another week or so. Wow. How can Scott Pioli tie himself to Matt Cassel? I don't watch every Chiefs game religiously but whenever I watch, I tell u he is so average to lousy.

Well Detroit has woken up from its slumber. If we're gonna win it, we're gonna have to earn it. I'm still glad we got rained out the other night. Sox at that point were in the tank. Thanks to Sale for getting the Sox back on track. I think it's pretty obvious saving Sale for Monday woulda been dumb. This is just what the Sox needed tonight.

I didn't want to start a new thread, but I had a question. How is Chicago handling the Sox being in contention? Is this big news? Do people just laugh it off since KC has mopped us up and in head to head games with Detroit the Sox get owned? Do people believe this team is a contender? Is the city gripped over the Sox? I mean as mad as I get at them, they are three weeks from being in the playoffs if all went well and then all bets are off. A world series at that point is the goal and as we know they don't come around often. My question is ... Does Chicago care???

It's pretty sad the writers can't let us know what is going on. Does Cowley write about the Sox any more? He seems to have gone away. He could at least have gotten to the bottom of this.
