  1. And the missed/crappy call costs the Sox a run.
  2. I know Benintendi takes a lot a grief, but he gives professional at bats. It sucks he can’t play a position.
  3. Well that was suboptimal. Terrible AB by Peters.
  4. I know it’s May, but that felt like a big win. I’m a college basketball coach and there is an old adage that you can’t win until you find a group you’re willing to lose with. That’s the Sox right now.
  5. I ask this sincerely. Is there a correlation between minor league team records and major league team record? It would make sense if there was but I don’t that would be an absolute. I’ve never really thought about it too deeply.
  6. I’m of the mind that if you walk someone off, especially with a homer, do whatever the hell you want as long as you’re not making contact with the opponent. That’s my line in the sand. No physical contact with the other team. Bat flip the fucking thing over the moon, run around the bases on your hands…matters not to me. Enjoy the moment. The game is hard and life is fun. I choose to live by joy!
  7. I think I’ve officially joined the believer crowd as I looked up game tines this week so I could watch the games.
  8. The AJ bomb at Wrigley with 2 out in the 9th. (Ed says down to last strike but scorebug says 1-1)
  9. At least Sam is leading off…oh, wait!
  10. Love that movie.
  11. 😂. Worse. Celtics.
  12. I think I officially started believing last night when I watched the Sox game over an NBA playoff game, although the Sox game ended in time for me to watch the 4th quarter. I should state that my career is in basketball and am an avid NBA fan so I surprised myself.
  13. Was at the game last night (took my youngest to his first MLB game…we also went to the Bucks/Spurs to see Wemby). A lot of Sox fans there. It’s depressing at the moment. Feel for Mune and Meidroth. Brewers are good. They pounce on seemingly every opportunity. My subscription to CHSN isn’t going to last long at this rate. Go Sox. Let’s get win #1.
  14. The Sox haven’t been over .500 since opening day 2023 (April 1). Why not today!
  15. 63-99. Getz avoids the 100 loss mark by winning game 162.
  16. Heading to Milwaukee on Saturday. First Sox game I’ve been to in awhile. I think Giolito started the last game I was at and Donaldson was playing for the Twins. 👀
  17. Honestly, 13 of 91 100 loss teams being above .500 the following season is higher than I would have guessed. That’s something under 15%. I would have guessed closer to 5%. What that means for the 2026 White Sox, I have no idea.
  18. OK. I’ve never heard this Don’t Stop Believing story before. Fantastic.
  19. Holy s%*#. That was something.
  20. This ump has been awful both ways.
