I assume they set it up to get Martin and Burke at home against the Yankees. Try to out slug the Rangers for a couple games and put the two best starters against NY. Oh crap. Forgot about the Astros series. I suppose that still sets up a Davis and Burke for the end of the Yankee series.

I was thinking about Vasquez a couple of days ago. I was thinking he’d be a valuable player in today’s game, if I’m recalling him correctly. I seem to remember he’d look like an All-Star through 5 innings, basically twice through the order, then get rocked the third time through. If he could do that today, he’d be much more valuable than he was 20 years ago. Or maybe I’m remembering wrong and if that’s the case I’m sure I’ll be corrected quickly. 😂
