  1. Agree on Burger and Vaughn. Of course Liam too when he comes back. The rest of the team is not only unlikeable, but frustrating as hell to watch with all their poor hitting fundamentals and lack of plate discipline on this anemic lineup.
  2. That is a great point! Pedro and Tony never had them playing hard or having fun or exhibit any team comradery like Renteria did. I guess we just witnessed first hand the old adage, "Be Careful What You Wish For!"
  3. Wow, coming from a Sox long time Sox fan like you, that has been following them longer than most of us, that is really pathetic and sad these guys come off as so uncaring and unlikeable besides being a bad team. This team is truly becoming a monumental and historic embarrassment that we as loyal Sox fans already see, but unfortunately the FO with all their great accountability haven't seen it yet or just don't care.
  4. I am 100 percent doing the same thing. I realize it will never happen, but I wish most White Sox fans would feel the same way and take the same route.
  5. You're right about the Sox fans who will be screwed on the secondary market. Even with the seats sold, if this team continues to keep losing more and be unwatchable, I agree with you the actual physical attendance should go further down. That's is what I'm hoping where you can hurt Jerry's bottom line from the reduced revenue of parking, food, alcohol and merchandise.
  6. That was only half of the formula I suggested. Yes Pedro was from the outside. Unfortunately you missed the key part of my post which was from a winning organization from the outside. Pedro did not come from a winning organization. KC in fact has one of the worst records since their last winning season in 2015, at 449-607 .425 PCT. In fact just last year they lost 97 games and in 2018-2019 they lost back to back 103 and 104 games. I have preached this numerous times in numerous posts here, I want the next Sox Pres and GM from a TB, LAD, NYY, ATL, MIL type winning baseball team, that not only understand how to win, but experience developing young talent and building a strong farm system
  7. You are probably right as it was more wishful thinking. However it is a sad commentary on Sox fans to be so loyal and not willing to send a stronger message to this loser owner, who could give a crap whether his loyal fans are frustrated and totally upset. As far as the projection on wins, I don't see them getting more than 62-65 range. In fact, if they do a major sell off at the July trade deadline, then for sure they can approach over 100 loses. At least that's what I'm praying for...the worst possible ending for this ShitShow the owner and FO gave their loyal die-hard Sox fans.
  8. IDK, maybe a new Pres & GM hired from the outside from a winning organization that actually know how to develop those type of players.
  9. I agree with you. After they hit 16 losses and break the White Sox record, then thy need to focus on the all-time major league record of 23 consecutive losses held by the 1961 Phillies.
  10. I think this is the key! I never root against the Sox, but for once I hope the fans really stop going and never even touch 5k. I also hope the losses keep piling up. We all know Jerry flaws as an owner. One of them is his big ego. I think as long as he isn't in dementia yet and has some non senile cognitive skills left, I think watching 5k a game or less would embarrass him...knowing he is embarrassing himself to the other league owners. If after potentially having one of worst records in baseball and maybe the worst attendance it still doesn't bother Jerry to make any changes, then the other Sox owners need to get together and bring this POS loser owner to court and claim he is mentally incapable to continue being the owner of the Sox and force him to sell the team.
  11. I know it was, I was just creating more funny thought that fantasied in my head, imagining these two clowns discussing plate discipline and Eloy telling Robert how to not swing at such wild pitches.
  12. Maybe the same genius thinking when Hahn traded Madrigal and Heuer for Kimbrel and the other ton of bad trades too many to list.
  13. Yup, another Chicago loser team with a s%*# owner and a horrific front office just like our Sox! Don't forget Panarin too.
  14. Then after they replace the shithole Romy, they can dig into their deep bench of second basemen both on the team and down in their 27th ranked farm system,
  15. Michael probably has and his Dad replied, "mind your business and take care of the your Bulls team." "I know what I'm doing." Don't forget son, I've won 6 titles with your Bulls and a World Series championship with my White Sox team." The key word you mentioned is SENSE. JR has zero sense, so nothing to knock into him!
  16. I wonder what the ML record is for how many games it took before a team actually won 2 games in a row or won their first series. yeah With this joke of a team, they might as well get some notoriety and get themselves in the record books.
  17. A classic illustration of "The Pot Calling the Kettle Black". Eloy probably telling Robert to stop swinging at all those wild pitches several feet off the plate.
  18. Yup, Robert leading off is bad, but equally as dumb is Eloy hitting 3rd with a stat line: .183/.258/.333/.591
  19. Hard to believe Rick Hahn and Kenny Williams are still here, especially since there is so much accountability in this organization.
