  1. you mean for those who ALWAYS get tired of his act... :fyou Hawk and your ranting
  2. Weekend matchups: Fri: Show vs. Wright Sat: Loz vs. Travis Smith Sat: Mark vs. Hampton
  3. I'd rather have my two sandwich picks and a shot at the division than a White Flag trade, which is what shipping away Maggs would be.
  4. Hasn't been just one game, I believe he's done it over 4 or 5 starts... 33 innings, 2.43 era in 6 starts.
  5. The Mets could win that division, they aren't that far out of it.
  6. Timo Freaking Perez? Although I admit Ginter was a bust for the Sox, this really was a stupid move by KW...And considering how badly we need a 5th at this point, this just makes it look worse.
  7. I said this a while ago, whats the news?

I agree with your assesment Brando, I'd take Abreu over Maggs.

  12. And more botching to come!
  13. Hey Botch.... :fyou
  14. Botch at it again... :fyou :fyou :fyou
  15. That'd be nice!
  16. BTW Steff, can we meet up Sunday?
  17. I'd rather them not be anywhere because I usually get mad and end up smarting off at one when they stand in front of me when I am trying to watch the game.
  18. Um, alright, ok...
  19. And thanks for calling me dips***, most posters around here would agree with that one...
  20. Based on tonight's showing, I don't see us counting on Mike Jackson for much except BP fastballs. And you are right, but unless you are winning all 162 games, you wouldn't need a closer to pitch 162 games.
  21. Not at all, there is absolutely no reason to make the game close when we are blowing a team out. It happens far too often and I, frankly, am tired of seeing it. This game right here made me think back to the Paniagua game and after that I just got even angrier.
  22. Ozzie's Managing Lately = :puke
  23. I didn't think I was going to have to do this so early in the season, but I have seen enough. Never have I been so pissed off after a Sox victory, but this just about does it for me. Why, Ozwaldo, are you using Meatball throwing Mike Jackson in the 9th inning of ANY GAME? His 8th inning performance was enough for most of us. Are you trying to give the other team momentum heading into the next game? Sure seems like it to me. I could care less what the score of the game is, quit using these guys in the 9th inning. I don't get the idea of only using certain pitchers in certain situations. Is it unreasonable to ask Marte or Shingo to pitch in the 9th inning if the game isn't close? What are you saving these guys for? A rainy day? I suggest you remove your head from wherever it's stuck now and wake up. Learn how to use the bullpen, it may do you some good as the season goes on. (End of rant.)
  24. Good stuff right there...
