Why would anyone listen to those 3 jerkoffs?

Mags would be cheaper than Vlads, so why not just keep Mags if you're going to chase after Vlads.

If he doesn't want to be in Chicago and has no intention of staying after next season, he's not going to keep him.

We'll have Lee, Frank and PK who I think will have a better season. Also throw in an improving Crede and other youngsters and you have a decent offense. Then again, I would feel a lot more comfortable with another hitter.

Putting Neal Cotts in this deal would be a huge mistake. And if we do get Nomar, keep him from a year, then he bails, KW is going to be done. He better make sure he can deal him to LA before he swings this deal.

Stark says that Cotts is the pitcher being mentioned as the minor leaguer (this would be a huge mistake IMO) or possibly Danny Wright. Stark says that A Rod's deal may be extended one-year as part of the deal. Stark says Garciaparra is NOT happy about the possibility of going to the White Sox. Says that it was basically one of the last places he wanted to go. Stark says the Sox are going to have to make some moves (Val) if they do acquire Nomar.

They also said that Ichiro's agent is asking for 15 mil a season while the M's are only offering 8-10 mil per season.

No to Juan Gonzalez. That guy is not reliable at all. We'd be lucky to get 100 games from him and he'd probably end up out for the season knowing his track record. I'd rather give a young player a chance than take a gamble on a washed up player with no desire to win like Gonzalez.

I personally don't care either way. I got my wish this offseason with the Buehrle deal, so whatever else happens I am just going to live with.

Says there's a few final details to work out with the money, but the deal, as Stark puts it, "appears to be on its way to a happy ending."

Since Magglio is about to be sent outta town, it's time to open the gates on his play last season and why he's not worth the money he's asking for. I know a lot of you watched basically every Sox game last season and attended many as well, here's what I saw from our franchise player last year. 1) A lot of posing and admiring home runs that I never saw in the past from him. I really noticed it more towards the end of the season. 2) Constantly dogging it when he hit ground balls and knew he didn't have a chance to beat them out. This is one reason by the end of the season that Lee was higher on my list than Ordonez was. 3) Big decreases in RBI and HR numbers and a big drop in OPS (.978 to .926). I loved having Maggs on the Southside, but the fact of the matter is, he's not worth the money he's going to ask for after this next season. Thanks for your time with the Sox O-E-O, but it'll be great to see Mark B take you down with that cutter on the outside corner next season.

Why would anyone want Kim? He always finds a way to blow big games and the stunt he pulled giving the finger to the Boston fans last year during the playoffs should be enough to shy any team away from wanting him.

Finally some Sox news to get me away from following the NBA and King James for a while.
