Mark Buerhle
Forget moving Buehrle, he's gonna be here for the rest of that deal and if he pitches like I expect him to, we'll be exercising that 4th year option.

Guess who's back
At least we got something done with Buehrle, that was my #1 priority anyhow.... Any luck on getting my sig back?

Finally, after 3 weeks with basically no computer, I'm back online. I know you all missed me dearly.... Anyhow, it's good to be back and talking Sox with all of you.

Guardado
Maybe we can trade them William to get some strength back into that pen...

Why All of the Stress on Offseason Deals?
While I applaud your optimism, your statement about the Sox farm system couldn't be more wrong. The Sox have one of the 10 worst farm systems in baseball at this present time, if not worse. Throw in the fact that they traded away several of their upper tier prospects (Ring, Webster, others) this past season and the system is even worse. Sure, the lower levels of the system has some promising players like Sweeney, Anderson, Nanita and there are some solid prospects in the higher levels like Reed and Honel, but there's really nobody that stands out who is ready to come in and contribute right away. I think you will see when Baseball America releases its final rankings of all of the farm systems in baseball, the Sox will be in the bottom 10. Therefore, it's not unreasonable for Sox fans to grow restless while other teams make moves that significantly improve their teams. Right now this organization has done absolutely nothing to show that it's committed to improving next season. (By the way, I haven't posted in a while because my computer crashed and right now I have limited access to the net until I get my new hard drive up and running next week.)

NCAA March Madness 2004
Too bad the game wasn't made for Gamecube, pisses me off to no end.

Foulke at the Celtics game
Keith Foulke, the free-agent closer who pitched last season for the Oakland Athletics, attended the game with Boston Red Sox general manager Theo Epstein. Foulke is one of the team's top priorities after a season of inconsistent relief. Thought that may be of interest to some of the Foulke fans out there in Sox World.

Let it Be Naked - Today is the day
And 2K, be assured that Mr. music himself will simply dismiss this as another overhyping of the Beatles...

Let it Be Naked - Today is the day
Dude, what are you, the managing editor of Billboard magazine? You judging who has credibility in judging music and who doesn't is completely insane. "However, anyone that cannot see that they have been over-hyped loses credibility in my eyes." I don't even know what to say to that comment. http://www.rollingstone.com/features/featuregen.asp?pid=1114 Take a look at the READERS top 10 albums of all-time, I think the evidence pretty much speaks for itself. I think your little band Radiohead is even included in there. But then again, you'll probably claim that has no credibility either.

Thank you Miss Doable one...

Michael Jackson in trouble again...
No reason to roll your eyes, I was just asking which actions cause there have been so many of them...Then again having a face looking like that should be punishment enough...

Michael Jackson in trouble again...
And what actions would you be referring to?

Let it Be Naked - Today is the day
I think it can be argued that Let It Be is the one of the worst Beatle albums, but that is not a bad thing. It's simply shows how many great albums they had. If I were to rank them, it'd go something like this, but I think most would agree that the top 4 are pretty much interchangable: 1) Revolver 2) Sgt. Pepper 3) Abbey Road 4) White Album 5) Rubber Soul 6) A Hard Day's Night 7) Help! 8) Beatles For Sale 9) Let It Be 10) With The Beatles 11) Please Please Me 12) Magical Mystery Tour

Dany Baez option declined
Lightenberg is a right hander.

Dany Baez option declined
If you remember, Baez failed 2 seasons ago as a starter, was moved to the closer's role towards the end of that year then was decent as a closer last season before being removed from that role. My guess is that Cleveland didn't want to pay a guy who clearly has no defined role as a pitcher at this point. He'll get a look from a lot of teams, but clearly he hasn't met his potential.

Padres and A's deal
Looks like A's are trying to cut payroll because if they are not, this deal is rather foolish.

USC might fall to #3 in the BCS
This is all a moot point because Oklahoma is going to crush whomever they face.

What type of internet connection
You mean they have that kinda technology down under?

Kelly Wunsch
You're wrong about only the younger players coming to Soxfest. The list they have out right now is only tenative, you can expect more names to be added later. Do you really think people would come to Soxfest if Willie Harris and Aaron Rowand are the main attractions? And if that happened to be the case, you've got up to 24 hrs to cancel your reservations with no penalty.

AOL Instant Messanger
I've seen that on a lot of my buddy's info pages, but clicked it before and nothing happened to me. Maybe try re-installing AIM and see if that works.

What is Piazza's worth?
Beastly, what in the world are you talking about with Jamie Burke? Perhaps you should reconsider what you post before it's posted if you ever want to be taken seriously. Just some food for thought.
