Unless the Sox can hit HR's, they can't win. They have nobody who can hit singles and just move runners along. Everyone swings for the fences and that simply doesn't cut it.

I wouldn't feel sorry for anyone. These are grown men who are playing with no passion. There's simply no way that Kansas City is the best team in our division. The Sox and the Twins both have a great shot to take the division and I believe whichever one of these teams plays the best in the second half will indeed win the division. However, until the Sox decide to step up and play with intensity on every pitch, they will just be a mediocre team in a mediocre division. Hopefully Buehrle can get us back on track this afternoon.

I'd expect Honel to be called up to AA at the end of the season, start next season in AA and have a shot at arriving in U.S. Cellular by late 2004 or the start of 2005.
