If Patterson wasn't on the Cubs, I'd vote for him. Castillo has only had an average year, Santiago I don't care for, Jenkins is having a great year and Cabrera is an exciting shortstop with great range and good pop. Take your pick, I'm taking Cabrera.

I'd say Damaso Marte has a slight chance at getting in. You know Scioscia will pick Donnelly and he deserves it. If they take a 2nd set up man, it has to be Damaso. LaTroy Hawkins has better numbers than Marte IMO. Better ERA, better whip, K's and team has been slightly better thus far.

I'll take Wilbon, Lupica and a list of several others before I take Albom. He's stellar though. BTW, have you ever looked closely at Mitch's ears?
