I too, also have DirectTV and got this pamphlet thing in the mail advertising DirecTV@DVR.. Is that what you got? It says get a DirecTV@DVR for $199... and if you have the Total Choice Premiere Programming(as I do) the monthly fee of $4.99 is waived I have my satellite and TiVo separate. What you're talking about is both in one, which requires a dual LNB (don't ask) satellite dish. I would have gotten that, but since my receiver is brand new, I didn't want to buy another receiver and have to get rid of my new one.

It works with cable or satellite.
  3. Whichever program you want to use, download a trial and then go into Kazaa and search under documents for a registration key for it. That's what I usually do for any program I want to use.

I'd love to Mr. Showtime. Here's basically what mine does. I've got the TiVo series 2, 80 hr model. Basically, it can hold up to 80 hours of programming. I've got it hooked up to my DirecTV receiver. When you are watching live TV, you can pause it, rewind it, slow motion, instant replay. I've just been playing around with those today as I just got the system put in today and put into place. Along with those things, you can set it to record programming that's on when you are not home. For example, when the Sox play tomorrow night, I'm going to set it to record the game and when I get home, I'll be able to start it from the beginning and watch it all the way through. If I only get home 10 mins after it starts, I can start it from the beginning until it reaches live TV and watch it from there. It also has a season pass feature that records every episose of whatver show you tell it to. For example, every episode of Friends that's on my dish would be recorded if I selected a season pass for Friends. The service is 12.95 a month or you can pay $300 for a lifetime subscription of your box. The prices range from $250 to $350, depending on how much you'd like to be able to store on the TiVo. There ya go. I'd recommend it to anyone, my uncle was the one who got me into it as I used it at his house several times and had to get one on my own.

I think we should have to sweep them. It's a 4 game series, not 3.

Just got it today in time for the second half of the season so I can start the games from the beginning when I get home. This thing is awesome. I was just wondering if anyone else has it and what you think of it. It'll be great to be able to watch Mark B mow down the Twins over and over and over...
  8. It's a shame if there really is no AA all-star game, that's where all the talent is.
  9. Cy Loaiza by far, just kidding.
  10. Buehrle isn't going anywhere, case closed.
  11. I wouldn't consider Peavy or Perez prospects anymore, they've been in the majors part of last season and some of this season now.
  12. I don't care who they are, I'm not in favor of trading Buehrle for anyone. Yes, I'm familiar with some of them like Tankersly, Phillips, Howard, Nicolas, etc.
  13. http://insiders3.ezboard.com/fminnesotatwi...picID=346.topic A lot of them don't like it and with good reason.
  14. I'm glad you aren't running the team then.
  15. The only way Sid comes here is via free agency. I agree Steff, as much as it pains me to do so.
  16. If we can beat Detroit, it's a strong possibility, but that didn't work out too well when we played them in Detroit or even the last time they were at the Cell and beat us 2 out of 3.
  17. Who, if anyone, would you like to see the Sox acquire before now and the trading deadline? My personal vote is for Sidney Ponson, but I doubt it happens because I don't see the Sox making anymore deals after the Alomar and Everett deals.
  18. I own both of them on my fantasy team along with Vernon Wells, another underrated player. Quite possibly the best fantasy OF available right now: Anderson, Wells, Ordonez.
  19. Fine with me, he's not that great IMO. He's a solid outfielder, but their real need is pitching, not another hitter.
  20. Every blind squirrel finds a nut....
  21. He just changed agents and ESPN ran an article that he is now open to a trade to a contender. I'd say that KC fits that bill right now since they are 7 games ahead in the Central...
