have fun BMR, some parts can be cool. I went there a couple years ago for three weeks. Milan and Rome are kinda cool, but I stayed by my parents home town up in the mountains for about 17 of the 22 days, which sucked.

clujer, you are right. the performance on the field affects team chemistry, good and bad. you are also right in saying this team is better than the 2000 team. BUT, let me say this, the 2000 team was a 85 win at best. we got very lucky that year thanks to the career years by Perry, Valentin, Sirotka, Eldred (well, compared to his last 3-4 years before then), Baldwin, Wunsch. Our rotation was very questionable going, but turned into one of the deepest in baseball. the offense was great, but like 2001 and 2002, couldn't score when it really counted. Plus, they recieved a lot of breaks. I can't understand how people say he dismantled this team or dried up our farm system. Siro is in the minors with the Cubs, Parque is somewhere (forgot where), Eldred is with the Cards, coming off injury and retirement, and Baldwin is stuck at the bottom of the rotation. the reason our minors are dry is because people come up. when you have top prospect, eventually they are either going to come up and perform, thus no longer being prospects, or they are going to fade away.

and heather, I would hope that talk doesn't exist either. after a while, I could see how you would get seriously offended by that. nothing wrong with ragging on people, but there has to be limit, which is when the poster has had enough. then again, were they to have a board it would be compltely uncensored I assume.

we don't know as of this point, we will have to talk about it, but I think it could be a possibility. we'll keep you guys intuned to what happens.

my last post wasn't meant to put down or disrespect anyone on the board who feels opposite of me, but it is amazing how so many people in America don't realize how great they can have it, and for some, how great they do have it.

great idea soxheads. I think it would be best to get as many teams possible in one league, I like challenges where you have to really decipher the bad players from the decent ones, instead of the great players from the good ones. all depends how many people we have. 20 should be the max for a league, but if we get more than that who are interested, we can split it into two. sides don't be able to square off at the end though, right? I'll find time to be in either way.

the lineup isn't my opinino or assumption, but fact. Manuel stated his lineup at soxfest and that was it. will it change? maybe, but going in that is how it will be. although Olivo is the catcher of the future, they aren't giving him anything.

yeah, jas, I didn't know who the hell you were either, all I know is that I was desperate to have someone to help me out (or in your case, motivate me as well) and you came aboard, which will be the greatest move this site has ever made. as far as Mark...........I regret it to this very day actually, mark's attitude was too damn different to ignore. he's always willing to give insight and help out whenever possible. thumbs up to him too. RPS (MIKE), I never hated you, you just had the same name as some real idiot poster on soxfanatic, so when you started posting here, I thought you were him and hated ya, that was until I got to know you, now I hate you even more...........................................but we get along fine, lol. the strength of this board has come from these three guys.
