I see Jimenez putting up a good year, but not great numbers. He's a guy I'm looking at to hit .280 with a .370 OBP, a lot of walks, and a lot of pitches.

he has very good control, throws rather soft and at least from the angle I saw him at when I was down in spring training, he doesn't have the best of stuff. BUT, stuff isn't anything. he's obviously put up the numbers and could be a pleasent suprise this year.

last time I heard, the Sox were ranked like 15 or 16 for the series and had 1 in 8 odds of winning the AL. I think the odds in the division was 1 in 4 or 6.

yes, exactly, very good point. outside of two game series' which I don't recall if there are any, we'll have one of them every series, which gives us a good chance at taking two.

as far as the whole NAZI thing, trust me, I'm not that much of an ass, baby, and board freak to sit here and ban guys because I don't like them.

umm BrandoFan. first off, we don't ban people unless they go WAY overboard, and it has to be WAY overboard. so far we have banned two people on this board. One was tony (joebatters) because he was on a drunken post rage, the other was SideShowApu, who was banned because he asked us to ban him. second, I do as little work possible on these boards. Considering I'm part owner in this, I post and watch this board very rarely. third, I've known BMR since the ESPN boards, and for anyone who does recall, we would get into arguements practically anytime we were both on at the same time. I know BMR, he can look like a real prick many of times, but he's a smart guy, I got no beef with me.

guys, can you settle down a bit? I have no problem with the arguing, and don't worry, I won't go and ban you guys or anything, but this thread seems to be getting a little too personal. a lot of us here rip each other and get into arguements, but in the end the respect is still there. just try to ease up a bit. I don't want you guys taking all this hate for eachother and carrying it over to every other thread you guys post/see. thanks

very hard to recruit ESPN guys over, although I haven't really tried too. you are right though, those guys you mentioned are very good posters and smart baseball guys.
