I thought Eder was going to be a decent pickup when they traded for him but he has come to the Sox and completely s%*# himself on the mound and will be 25 in October. If he doesn't right the ship next year, he's dangerously close to becoming a non-prospect quickly.
Admittedly I was unaware of his injury issues over the last couple seasons.
It shouldn't, Salvy will be a 34 year old catcher with a big contract. I have no clue how his value could possibly be that high.
I mean realistically, Salvy should be a pure salary dump.
He's been below replacement level in 2023.
I agree with this guy. I know I talk s%*# about Yoan because he's not worth his contract but man if he stayed healthy it completely changes the trajectory of the 2016-17 rebuild.
