  1. Haha, I love your accusation of racism when Schriffen was literally commentating fucking SlamBall prior to the White Sox. Do you even know WTF SlamBall is Tray? Are you truly this naive? Jerry is fucking cheap and so he obviously went cheap to replace a better announcer in Benetti, or am I also being racist? Am I now anti-Semitic for calling Jerry cheap? No, I’m not. He IS fucking cheap. Meanwhile, no one cares if Schriffen is a “great guy” if he sucks at his job. Only a truly clueless Sox homer would think he is a good commentator. Your passive aggressive hints that everyone else is racist when they disagree with you are an embarrassment to this site and humanity in general. You play this game that everyone is out to get you and any of your awful takes when people disagree with you. No, they aren’t. Stop making bullshit whiny excuses because you can’t convince anyone else to agree with your ridiculous takes on everything. That means your arguments are weak. Tray constantly defends Jerry and thinks Schriffen is great at his job. How can anyone take him seriously at this point? This is either conspiracy level trolling at this point or Tray has achieved greater White Sox homer status than Hawk Harrelson. I desperately await your “Fvk you” post… 😉
  2. Yep… https://chicago.suntimes.com/high-school-football/2025/09/19/brother-rice-football-chicago-loyola And no love for the OL in the above article. Clueless journalism. Also, their sophomore TE playing for varsity — Jack McNamara (6’5”, 235) has received offers everywhere, and just today from Ohio State.
  3. Trust me. I didn’t like it either. My son is coming back from a knee surgery. I don’t need to see him f*** up another one playing in a meaningless 4th quarter blowout until the last second of the game.
  4. Coach Q just pulled a Bud Kilmer from Varsity Blues and left the starters in until the very end of the game. 28-6 Brother Rice. First win over Loyola for varsity BR since 2018. This team is legit.
  5. BR is blowing out Loyola now. BR is for real. Lockdown defense, healthy strong OL, and a competent QB that can throw it and also burn a team for a 75 yard TD run, which he actually did tonight. They need to swap their team rankings. Pre-game had BR at #6 and Loyola at #4. BR >>> Loyola.
  6. Jerry just doesn’t care, and hasn’t for awhile.
  7. You may not like Sciambi, as I am not a fan of his delivery, but there’s no doubt he does a ton more legwork and research prior to games than Schriffen does. He shares a ton of analytics and information that would basically make Schriffen respond with **crickets**.
  8. Stone is the old man that sits on his front porch and yells at anyone who accidentally steps on his grass. Except he does it via trolling his co-worker and random people online via his Twitter.
  9. Sox down by 5 runs. Schriffen: “Do you give him the 3-0 green light here?” 🤣 So true about Stone needing to be engaged and pushed to do his job by a good partner. Otherwise, he will just coast. Seems like Jerry has given him a job for life and he knows it.
  10. That’s around what I was seeing. Slightly higher according to this site… https://www.tankathon.com/mlb TRU was very unlucky in his sims. Hopefully that doesn’t happen.
  11. That seems like a bad simulator. Shouldn’t the Sox have the best chance at the #1 pick with the Rockies being ineligible, as well as the Nationals and Angels? Seems like the Sox should have been simmed to win it at least once, if not more, with their odds.
  12. That 2008 D. Rose NBA draft was a lottery as well. Bulls had only a 1.7% chance at the #1 pick! Let’s hope for some collusion and that Manfred feels sorry for Jerry and his pathetic team! 🤣
  13. Maybe the MLB will feel sorry for Jerry and the Sox like the NBA did for his Bulls and gift them the #1 pick, a la Derrick Rose?
  14. I’ve noticed that Jeff Agrest is the best journalist in Chicago. He’s probably making chump change with the Sun Times but everything he publishes is dead on. From calling out the morons on WSCR 670 The Score like Riordan and Bernstein to asking why Schriffen even has a job. Dude is spot on, all the time.
  15. Chris, your current team still blows because you are a bad GM and they are about to lose 100+ games. Even a 20 win improvement over last season won’t be impressive considering you set the MLB record for losses last year. Give it up, Chris.
  16. Or calling 450 foot homers like they are wall-scrapers. 🤣 Amazing that Jerry was apparently concerned with how Benetti ate a Campfire Shake during the broadcast but he doesn’t care how clueless Schriffen makes himself look on a daily basis as long as he bows to the great Stone Pony. The guy made a joke about smoking a glizzy at both ends along with Bacon, a la “Lady and the Tramp”. WTF?!?
  17. He needs to leave and try to get an NBA gig somewhere. It’s obvious that basketball is his true love. When you are a true fan of a sport, you do your research on it. I guarantee you he would have no problem spitting facts left and right about the Knicks or Bulls. He just isn’t much of a baseball fan and has barely any Sox knowledge.
  18. Is there really enough room there for a modern baseball stadium plus more?
  19. Jerry is likely still futiley working on getting a taxpayer-funded stadium before he agrees to chip in with the Fire.
  20. I missed the game in which Schriffen did the hot dog / “Lady and the Tramp” bit with Beckham referenced in the article… wow. 😲 Schriffen also said it to the same guy who drew a sentence with his foot in the infield to make fun of his former teammate Getz during his playing days. Obviously Schriffen probably didn’t even know that bit of Sox history but what an awkward joke to make regardless.
  21. Yep, it’s a CarMax. And not only are those three not top suburbs, but they are quite honestly crime-ridden dumps, no offense to anyone that lives there. May as well move the stadium to Stinkney at that point. Smell some delightful wastewater along with your polish and grilled onions.
  22. $1.5 million for a 7.94 ERA in 5.2 major league innings ain’t half bad… for Clevinger that is. That’s over $250K per awful inning of work.
