  1. I almost feel like ST doesn’t matter for him to the Sox and that they will start him in the rotation regardless due to how he pitched last year in 124 innings. But I could be wrong, or you could be being sarcastic. 😀
  2. I wouldn’t be surprised if Amaya is starting so much because the Sox think Montgomery will be on the IL eventually, or they may just elect to keep him down. Who would you want to start at SS if that happens? Seems like they are just going with Amaya because he may be the best defender at SS.
  3. What do you think the confusion is for fans? There will be really bad White Sox baseball either way.
  4. I think we can see where this is headed. Getz better keep acquiring and drafting SS and 3B.
  5. A blocking TE. More blocking for Caleb and the next RB they draft.
  6. Easy typo to make — $10.1 billion. Crazy money!!! For the sake of comparison, Reinsdorf has a net worth of $2.1 billion and the Ricketts family is at $4.2 billion.
  7. That one homer was awesome… Back issues are going to F up his career, aren’t they?
  8. Do we know if that dbag who is best buddies with Clevinger is out? Maybe then Getz won’t keep signing Clevinger to deals until he retires.
  9. There’s almost zero reason to rush Slater back even if he’s healthy. 🤣
  10. Yep, Perez is a solid #5 starter on a good team.
  11. “Future’s so bright, I gotta wear shades…”
  12. What a steal… https://www.mlb.com/brewers/news/jose-quintana-brewers-contract-2025
  13. It came from under a CPS teacher’s fat rolls.
  14. I assume it is a combined score for all OL positions he played last year. 21 is good. I just fear Poles giving him a big extension and watching him fall off a cliff due to his age.
  15. This is true. Fletcher can at least play all three OF positions and has value as a fourth outfielder. If Colas doesn’t hit, he is virtually worthless.
  16. Definitely possible and perhaps even likely. Since none of the three are sure-fire talents, I just see no reason not to try the youngest guy with the supposed big power in what will likely be a losing season. But it is possible that a more interesting outfielder becomes available. I just hope Getz jumps on that guy rather than hang onto guys like Slater, Colas, Fletcher, etc. if they aren’t performing.
  17. I just see it this way — Fletcher is already old enough that I doubt he is a significant contributor to the next competitive Sox team. I would rather use another season of losing to give at bats to a 24 year old outfielder who could potentially be a contributor to the next competitive Sox team, even if said 24 year old outfielder doesn’t pan out.
  18. Joe Thuney was graded last season by Pro Football Focus as the league’s 21st best pass-blocking offensive lineman.
  19. I heard they acquired Thuney to be their starting LT.
  20. Both guys (Heck and Tait) ended their careers in their age 33 seasons. Thuney will turn 33 next November.
  21. I don’t like the idea of giving up a 4th round pick and a new big contract to what will be a 33 year old OL after this season.
  22. There’s way too many good RB’s in this draft not to take an OL with their first pick.
