  1. Robertson was DFA by the Blue Jays in July and the Sox acquired him for cash considerations. Benintendi is not even a 1.0 bWAR player due to his poor defense and still mediocre bat. His high priced salary is what makes him not worth his performance.
  2. https://www.si.com/mlb/guardians/opinion/mike-clevingers-actions-have-severely-complicated-his-place-in-the-indians-clubhouse The guy isn’t good enough to be worth his issues. Yet, the Sox keep signing him.
  3. Nothing funnier than
  4. Both are bad. One guy has issues outside of being bad which is why no one else wants him. Who signed both guys?
  5. You already know the point. The Sox have employed a scumbag lowlife for three years straight who has had both issues with previous teammates and women. Would any other team but the Sox even sign Clevinger at this point? The Sox aren’t very good judges of either baseball talent or of good humanity in general.
  6. Hard to argue with Thor considering the Sox continue to employ Clevinger and may even call him up soon.
  7. GM of the year award. 🤣
  8. Apparently we have the worst ownership and the most cowardly GM in baseball because no one else has signed the guy in three years.
  9. Barfield is supposedly responsible for the Fletcher trade. He suggested acquiring him to Getz.
  10. Unfortunately, he’s not even a 1.0 bWAR player because his defense is so bad. That’s what we should hope improves.
  11. Imagine posting multiple times and busting a nut that your favorite baseball team is actually going to win 50+ games in a 162 game season. 🤣 Jerry has truly won. Owner of the year!
  12. Yes, perhaps a prospect in a weak Robert trade return breaks out? Getting absolutely nothing back for Robert results in ZERO. This is simply fact. Sure, both results could end up being the same, but at least there’s a chance if you actually get some propsect(s) back that may pan out to some extent — bullpen reliever, bench player, etc.
  13. I have agreed with you about the Robert situation the entire time. The decision must have been made to pick up Robert’s option when he wasn’t traded, outside of a major injury. This is not a major injury. If Getz buys out Robert, I’ll be shocked and it will be more fuel than necessary to call for his firing. Even a weak trade return is better than nothing at all.
  14. Exactly, and it needs to be killed with fire.
  15. No other MLB GM would actually sign Clevinger to a minor league deal. Getz will not only pay him millions over two years straight, but he will also let him pitch when the entire world knows he’s a cancer and also sucks. What else can you say?
  16. Yeah, you just knew he was going to immediately be this successful in the majors after two awful minor league seasons in a row, right? What a freaking joke of a comment, trying to shove it in peoples’ faces as if you just always knew Montgomery would tear it up upon his call up. 🤣🤡 No one is eating crow because no one — including you — thought that Montgomery would have this type of immediate success after two bad seasons in AAA along with his back issues. Unfortunately for your usual Getz agenda, Montgomery was drafted by Hahn, so we can thank him instead. But please give us your thoughts on Booser and Gilbert whom our current GM actually acquired and traded prospects for.
  17. I’m not running with anything. It’s clear that the Brewers won the trade.
  18. That’s not really how trades work. Vaughn is still contributing to the Brewers so they obviously won the trade.
  19. Getz won another trade I see.
  20. Getz gonna Getz. It’s laughable that anyone thinks this dude is going to turn around this decrepit franchise before he is justifiably fired by an owner that may actually care about winning. Remember Jerry’s quotes about how great finishing in second place is. He has bred a culture of losing and Getz is just his latest pathetic minion.
  21. Are you sure? I thought the bullpen was middle of the pack, and have you double-checked their record since May 1st?
  22. As well as a scholarship in his name… https://cyclones.com/news/2025/8/13/iowa-state-football-creates-alex-ernst-legacy-scholarship
  23. It would have been sweet but the timing would have never worked out with cheapskate Jerry. Crochet is the only guy they would have paid for this year. Giolito is at $19 million and Rodon is at $27 million for the season. Crochet is only at $3.8 million for this season but his salary is about to jump to $24 million starting next season on his new extension and it increases from there. Jerry would not have approved any one of their new contracts.
  24. Because he’s crushing it in AAA, Robert is done, and your other options are MAT and the same overpaid suck in LF. Perfect time to give a dude playing time.
  25. GM’s absolutely own what their managers do these days in baseball. And if it isn’t that way for a historically losing team over the last 3 seasons, the Sox are even dumber than we think…
