He’s an embarrassment to baseball, the Sox franchise, Hahn who signed him, and Getz who continues to employ him. No surprise here. Pretty much status quo for the Sox.

This man is a walking disease… White Sox manager Pedro Grifol told reporters Thursday that Eloy Jiménez (hamstring) is likely to miss 4-6 weeks. It sounds like Jiménez is going to miss at least one month, if not longer, due to a left hamstring strain that he suffered earlier this week. The 27-year-old hasn’t gotten going at the dish this season after a strong spring training performance, posting a lackluster .668 OPS with five homers in 146 plate appearances.

Getz did a good job with signing Fedde. I still don’t think he will get a top 100 prospect for him though. Kopech will return an interesting prospect as well. Pham may bring back an interesting prospect, but signing Pham is the equivalent of Hahn signing Cueto. Both Hahn and Getz lucked into some good performances by signing the best available players after the season already started. I don’t see anyone else bringing back anything of note. But I doubt any of the guys they bring back in these trades are going to be the world beaters that this team needs to actually improve into a contender. This team has almost zero position players outside of maybe Ramos, Montgomery, Lee, and Quero.

Yep, regardless of if the Sox were winning games right now or being the very historically terrible team they are right now, Cease was never going to be resigned because of one man, Jerry Reinsdorf.

Chris “Nepotism” Getz. Do you want to have a challenging MLB job and try to build a winner, but still be judged by wins and losses? Go to the majority of other MLB teams. Or do you want to have a cushy gig and long-term security? Stick with the Sox, kiss JR’s ring, and be a loyal servant for years.

Nastrini was already getting torched in the minors. He had a near 6 ERA in AAA and our great GM Chris Nepotism Getz thought he was ready for the bigs.

#2 is overpay a catcher who should’ve retired last year because he will surely develop our young pitching prospects.

Pham is the baseball gods’ gift to the pathetic Sox. The baseball gods must not want the Sox to set the shutout record or the franchise loss record.

So our great former Director of Player Development and current GM, whose entire offseason strategy was to acquire crappy defensive-minded veteran position players to give our prospects more time to develop in the minors and to also ease their transition to the majors, apparently has no clue when a prospect is actually ready for the majors. Nastrini was pitching like dogshit recently in AAA. What made our great GM think he was ready for the bigs? Did he flip a coin to decide like Two-Face in Batman? Getz is no better than a little kid playing MLB The Show. He is just starting the clock on all of these guys with zero rhyme or reason and simply hoping some of them succeed.

It takes leaving the putrid Sox to go balls out and play well. Pillar’s numbers with the Angels, even including his crappy Sox stats, are absolutely insane.

Remember during the offseason when some posters respected Getz’s sound strategy of signing cheap vets to give the prospects more prep time in the minors? Yeah, that was pretty much bullshit. Getz is simply calling up anyone and everyone this season, regardless of performance, readiness, etc. ?

I think both sides are being tools. The Score (specifically Riordan) flips out ridiculously about anything and everything and Schriffen is stupidly goading them, which is weird as he is new to the city and team and doesn’t have much experience outside of Slam Ball.

146 plate appearances, .669 OPS, and 2 injuries already this season. So what exactly is Eloy good at, considering he can’t play defense?

The three main injury-prone crew have barely played this season and they couldn’t even make it to the start of summer. Further proof on why these guys can never be counted on, which shouldn’t excuse Getz or the Sox for banking on them. These guys are what they are. Hopefully, Getz uses this as a learning lesson and realizes that this is what the future likely holds for Robert, barely playing due to injury just like Eloy and Moncada. Get him as healthy as he can be and trade him after an extended hot streak. The flip side is that Robert stays healthy by some miracle and the Sox won’t be able to re-sign him anyways so I don’t see a reason to not trade him.
