He’s the anti-Eaton.

And didn’t get to 150 innings. The Sox limited him for a reason, which you kept arguing against.

I wonder if he watches his performance later on and is like, “Oh yeah, I nailed that call! I’m a mutha-fuckin pimp…” 🤣

“Check out this hang-time! Yeah Ha Ha Buddyyyy!!!” Plz retire, Schriffen.

9/27 Sox @ Detroit 5:40PM
Yes. It’s absolutely f’ing disgusting. The guy is DFA material and he has pretty much played a full season. .660 OPS for a “lefty slugging” 1B/RF. Embarrassing. Getz is a turd. 💩

It’s probably some production employee’s kid.

Ellard gladly accepted the role of Tank Commander.

Now we all see what happens when the Sox face a major league team (e.g., not the Angels). The Sox still suck.

Yep, true true…

Whoever is managing the digital scoreboard is drunk or stoned. Earlier, they said it was the end of the inning on that bad throw to first base. Just now, they gave the Sox the run instead of the Tigers.

Getz is cornering the market on acquiring bench players. Must be a new market inefficiency… 🤣

JASON BENETTI…

Unfortunately, Fletcher isn’t Eaton. He has zero pop and can’t hit. Just a good glove. He’s a fourth outfielder.

Shuster got the high strike call for ball 4 but then just threw one wide on the very next pitch anyways.
-
9/27 Sox @ Detroit 5:40PM
Yes, yes he does. He is just a lucky pitcher, usually, which is why he has a low ERA. His strikeouts and WHIP suck.

If you miss Vargas, here’s some footage of him from batting practice…

9/26 Sox vs. Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim 1:10PM - final home game
I agree with you. I was referring to the meatball fans that think making a bunch of big signings this offseason would be the fix to losing.

Getz is setting expectations for the Sox fans who are pissed off about this season and that are expecting dramatic offseason moves, because they aren’t happening. Getz also recently used the word “rebuild” for the first time.

Ah okay. I did not know this. Surprising considering he was with the Mets, Mariners, and Rockies for years.

Oh, I’m sure they will add a couple hitters but they will be DeJong/Lopez/Sheets quality and under $5 million. Here is the proof if @WBWSF doesn’t believe you… https://www.nbcchicago.com/news/sports/mlb/chicago-white-sox/getz-reveals-white-sox-dont-plan-on-being-big-spenders-in-free-agency/3556463/?os=i&ref=app%3Famp&=1

Flexen has a 3-15 record. Touki or some other starter/swingman bum could have done the job, ate innings, and contributed to losses just the same as Flexen. It wouldn’t have mattered.

JR Quote...
Every team has those examples. It happens in every sport. Owners should have a short memory on that stuff. You can’t just stop signing any top players to big contracts because you’ve had a few albatrosses.

Levine: Possible frontrunner for manager - LAD 1B Coach Clayton McCullough
At least he’s likable and can learn on the job while the team is horrible. Like a younger Renteria.

Buster Olney and Jesse Rogers’s turn ripping the Sox
Yep. Even if TA was truly an egotistical jagoff, if he was still hitting, some team would acquire him. Jack Parkman style…
