Crochet cites “mechanical issue” for poor outings
Anyone can be killed at anytime anywhere. Schools are no different. There’s nutjobs everywhere since the beginning of time that were clubbing other people over the head with a dinosaur bone, just because.

No.

8/10 Sox vs. Cubs 6:15PM
The Cubs will get a rude awakening once they have to face any team but the Sox.

Going from Chad Kuhl to Dominic Leone… Getz should be fired just for this even being a possible bullpen change.

Chad Kuhl blew it? I’m shocked! Nice hanging slider bum. Yet another nice pickup by Getz.

Not a DFA candidate but definitely a candidate to either rot on the Dodgers bench or be sent back to the minors.

It was a proactive move that Grifol never would have made. Grifol would have left Flexen out there until he gave up a 3 spot.

8/10 Sox vs. Cubs 6:15PM
He threw 78 pitches but it was an extremely lucky 4 inning, 0 earned run outing.

I’m not sure which was worse — Willie Harris waving Bellinger home on that play or Baldwin sitting there with his thumb up his ass.

Jerry must love that the FOX crew is advertising his true money maker…

Other than the shot of AJ with a Campfire Shake, this is absolutely pathetic. Willie Harris waved Bellinger home before he even touched 3B. Baldwin had the relay as Bellinger hits 3B and doesn’t even throw home. https://bdata-producedclips.mlb.com/b2cd3838-77bf-409f-8f1d-ba607ae4ab9a.mp4

Vargas… what a great acquisition.

Quero being a monster as well.

Flexen is trash, haha. Getting by on pure luck.

Good point. If Senzel ever has to play, it should be against a lefty.

Colás was hitting well in the majors in a very small sample size before they sent him back down. Getz has also called up guys who were performing far worse than Colás in the minors, Ramos for one. Colas and DeLoach both have around a .750 OPS in Charlotte. Regardless, the Sox are going for the worst record in history and Colas is turning 26 soon so it’s time to find out if he can make it. Giving at bats to Sheets is a waste. He’s a 1B/DH that can’t hit or defend and has overrated power.

AJ just said that the plan is for Vargas to be the 3B the rest of the way. I guess the Sox are keeping Montgomery at SS?

Sheets getting any playing time with Colas in the minors is ridiculous at this point. Getz is a moron. Sheets is a DFA candidate. Colas may be a bust but we don’t know for sure yet. And what position has been an absolute black hole for the Sox for years? Right field. This is roster mismanagement.

It’s too bad it will never happen but I would love to see AJP replace Stone.

Stone not sure he will be back in 25, season "wearing on him"
Dude also gets paid to be an asshole to his co-workers. Most people would get fired for that. ?

8/10 Sox vs. Cubs 6:15PM
What a pitching matchup. This could get ugly fast…

Stone not sure he will be back in 25, season "wearing on him"
Yep. The guy ripped every Sox fan on Twitter that was upset about the state of the team and that questioned the front office and now he is using the team’s performance as a reason he may want to retire? The Legend is a hypocrite.

Didn’t think I’d see a post with both cocaine and Stone Cold in it but here we are…

Crochet cites “mechanical issue” for poor outings
The Sox must be doing this to prove to other teams that Crochet can handle this many innings so he retains his trade value in the offseason. It isn’t going to work and will more than likely backfire in their faces with either more horrible outings or an injury. Crochet should be shut down. Man, the Sox are stupid.

Getz interview...
It’s been this way for awhile. None of the Chicago media wants to damage their relationships with the teams’ front offices and management by asking tough questions so they just lob softballs.
