It should have been obvious years ago that Micah would never play 2B. Not sure what they were thinking.

Yes my numbers were off, but sox were still like 20 WAR below good teams.

I can't recall the exact numbers but Sox position players had like 17 cumulative WAR, which was dead last or near it in MLB. good teams have about 40 WAR. So let's say Frazier gives you 5-6 extra. Lawrie 2-3. where's the rest coming from?

I know Lawrie did play second. He started his career at 2B. If he could play it well, why would you move him to 3B? He looks so muscle bound and stiff throwing the ball, I'd like to see him on the pivot at 2B.

Late to the party here, but want to be on record for future reference. 1. Trade makes sense if you are one player away from "going places." I think Sox are like 4-5 players away. 2. I don't think Lawrie can play second. Just my opinion, hopefully I am wrong. 3. Sox add yet another guy who can't draw a walk. What new?

How about a real life broadcaster instead of an ex-Sox player? Someone of the John Rooney ilk. Not that I loved him, but still he was a pro.
