Why would trading Quero now be selling low?

Would prefer to trade neither for now, but I'd rather see Quero go instead of Teel if one of them is going.

Seems to be no one else had a seat at the table on this one? He wanted to be back there, and they wanted him back...?

Trade Quero and Sosa for a good young outfielder and pitching wouldn't make me super mad. However, I do like Quero a lot.
