  1. Yes, he should be let in. Just my opinion, and on the case of accepting a lifetime ban, there was an interesting point brought up in the ESPN Mock Trial. Supposedly Rose's agreement was doctored after he intially agreed to it. I loved the ESPN trial, but I have to admit Dershowitz did an excellent job over Cochran. If I was on the jury panel, and being completely neutral, I would side with Dershowitz. Was just a graet job by him.
  2. To my understanding, Pete Rose had, and maybe still has, a gambling disease. Unfortunately, he was never really treated for it. I honestly don't know if he has bet on baseball or not, but I would still let in Rose in either case. It's proposterous to deny Rose on the allegation of betting, when the Sammy Sosa's, Barry Bonds' and Mark McGwire's will get in because of steroid use. But, MLB doesn't want to hurt their image. Have to bite the bullet soon.
  3. We're only the most obese nation because we have Philthydelphia in our country. Those cheese steaks will sure get ya! Oh, and Eagles still suck!!! No, it's because we have Indiana and Texas. Those two states are the two most obese states, I believe. Gotta give the UK and Austrailia bonus points for the accents, though.

  5. The group is called TheInsiders.com, I believe. Jason, gimme an e-mail with a synopsis of what's going on.

Do what I do, buy the more expensive things. Because they are more exspensive, there is a less quantity of the item. Exspensive things are better anyways.

New worm running around, but that's probably not the problem since it just shuts your computer down. My DSL is chugging along fine in Valpo. Edit: That worm can cause some major DDoS attacks, so that's most likely the problem.
  8. FHM, now that's unbiased! If you're going for ugly, holy s*** look at the US. Most obese nation doesn't rank #1? Something's wrong with that.
  9. Hall of Fame, not the Hall of Ethics.
  10. Wow, a guy has two bad outings and everyone s***s a brick. We didn't even deserve to win this game. The Sox had so many chances to blow this game wide open, but never could do it. I also sincerely doubt that the Sox would have scored four off of Percy if the game was a save situation. Closers don't particularly like pitching with big leads, but love close games.
  11. Bingo, and bingo. Its always nice having a good strong arm out of the pen and thats what Wright has. You could say the Dodgers should of groomed Gagne into a closer, but look what happened. Right now the Sox have two options, Wright or Ginter and I'm happy with either of the two out of the pen. I think either would contribute and I am excited Cotts will be joining the rotation. Oh ya Cerb...I disagree, Munoz or Majewski can close and do it damn well. Wow did Majewski impress me. Neither Munoz or Majewski are being hailed as future closers, so it's dumb to let them close games when Wright, who most likely could be a closer, is there. I'm not high on Majewski. We lost him three times in the Rule V, so the Sox aren't very high on him.
  12. If he will be groomed into a closer, let him do it at AAA Charlotte. They really don't have a closer (Munoz, Ginter) and he could get more reps without added pressure of a playoff race.

Well, if I wanted to, I could know a bunch of people in Hollywood, since my Uncle is an actor there. He was in a Circuit City and Chevy commercial, so he's known pretyy well now. My other Uncle, who lives in Chicago, was in The Untouchables and My Best Friend's Wedding (he was the announcer at Comiskey). Me myself? I know no one, I just benefit from my Dad, who knows a lot of ticket brokers. I believe he got offered ALCS tickets at Anaheim and ALDS tickets at Oakland.

Hummel has never been in the Bigs. I'd say, just my opinion, Cotts, Borchard, Rivvy, Adkins.
  15. ... Carlos Castillo pitched in the Bigs, so I have no clue where you're getting that logic from. What the f*** are you talking about? I'm aware that Carlos Castillo was a major League pitcher..... he is coming off arm surgery and pitching for a HIGH-A(Winston-Salem)ball team and getting hit real hard. Why promote him to AA to get hit any harder. Thats my f***ing logic is coming from. Someone's pissy. He's 28 years old, unsuccessful at AAA, and is very doubtful that he'll ever come back. But, I guess it's good not to push 28 year olds whose career minor-league ERA is 4.22 too hard. Don't want to stunt their progression.
  16. Quiet, Fanboy. You're 16. I rest my case.

  18. Seconded.
  19. Opposing pitcher on Tuesday is Ramon Ortiz. He got beat up pretty bad in his last start, 3 IP 7 H 7 ER. Go get 'em, Neal!

Tara Reid sounds like she has a brillo pad for vocal cords. Major turn off.
  24. E-Lo at 116 pitches, expect Gordon or Marte.
