  1. If Pedro Grifol is so good why wouldn't the Royals just hire him? I had never heard of the guy before the Sox interviewed him.
  2. Seattle probably has a 2-0 lead if they don't pitch to Yordan.
  3. Especially knowing they had to see him a lot while scouting Madrigal.
  4. I'm half expecting Hahn to be about ready to announce Espada as manager and then out of the blue we hear someone like Thome is the next manager. That would be the White Sox way.
  5. Geoff Blum, who is Houstons radio analyst loves him and thinks he will be a great manager. Sign me up on team Espada. Although he may wait out to see if Dusty retires at the end of the season.
  6. My guess is they hire Willie Harris. Not the most qualified but it is the White Sox way.
  7. I would take a look at Ron Washington. He had a rough ending in Texas but is beloved in Atlanta. He us a defense guru as well. We know this team needs that.
  8. Hahn chose Graveman and Kelly over him. Hahn should be fired for that decision alone.
  9. My guess is Leury was a Tony special. Luery magically stopped getting PT when Tony left.
  10. Good for Mark Payton. He may be more useful than Engel, at least with the bat.
  11. Do the Sox win the world series without Podsedniks heroics? Ended up being a good trade in the end.
  12. Isn't Kenny supposedly leaving after 23 when his contract ends?
  13. How trustworthy is this? https://twitter.com/mikedeportes/status/1574523529990660097?t=R92nF_aTPrFdG44eOHZwHA&s=19
  14. Find somebody from the Ray's or Guardians organization. Both those organizations know how to select and develop talent.
  15. Twins are toast. They aren't catching anybody. At least the Sox have a pulse.
  16. The only one of those they haven't got to at least once this year is Mckenzie
  17. That Naylor blown game 6 run lead game is now looming large. Win that game and 2 out of 3 would win the tiebreaker. I shut that game off thinking there was no way they could lose.
  18. I think it's more the Twins are just awful right now and the Guardians are in their head.
  19. Naylor 3 run hr. Thanks for the help Twins.
  20. Twins deciding to roll over and play dead is not helping at all
  21. We're all Twins fans now for 4 days starting tomorrow. If they take 3 out of 5 and Sox sweep the Tigers the Sox would be 1 game back heading into the Cle series.
  22. I watched the Cle/LAA game. LAA.had a bad defensive inning that gave up 4 runs otherwise they win that game. Trout is going for a record tying 8 game HR streak tonight so everyone will be watching his at bats. Sox just need to win. They put themselves in this position by not playing well until September.
  23. Twins look like the White Sox of a couple months ago. They look dead and Buxton is hurt.
  24. I blame Hahn for a lot of things but I'm 99% sure Leury is only here because he is beloved by Tony.
