Who's available in the bullpen: Castillo Richards Schultz Doesn't inspire confidence.

I don't understand why they never brought up Thorpe. He pitched pretty well in his starts. He would at least be able to provide some bulk innings in a reliever role. You can tell the bullpen is out of gas. Having no reliever help in Charlotte to call up is on Getz and Bannister.

Whenever Vasil gets back he might be the guy to look as a closer. He was fantastic last year as a multi inning guy.

Honestly Pham can't be any worse than Mune against a lefty. If he doesn't K 4 times that's an improvement.

Would Pham had made that catch last night? If so, a day later as we were out of outfielders to sub in for Sam after Will pinch hit Brayden for Doyle. One of his many questionable moves last night.

Hagan should start next year but for the rest of this year I would consider giving him a shot to close. He is unhittable and has had good control since coming back. Taylor has had control issues, but I would give him a shot to start next year as well. Bullpen arms can be found. Look at CLE turning a failed stater in Gaddis into an elite reliever.

This team has been resilient all season and even with a loss it is basically even with us having the tiebreaker. It's tough because winning tonight could have been a knockout blow for CLE but now they have life.
