  1. i just got done reading espn insider, what i came away with is that balt is really playing hardball in the ponson trade front. they are really not running scared. i sometime wonder if they are expecting too much. next is cincy, first they gave away williamson and now they are playing hardball with the rest of the pitchers. i think they realize that maybe they really don't have to rush and get rid of the pitchers, but they can do it in the offseason as well. those are my thoughts.

  4. welcome back, i haven't seen you in a while.
  5. well at least another one believe me when i say that mags is going to sd. but i still hope that he resigns with us.
  6. You mean you agree? i just woke up............... and no i do not like. what happen to you. you have been acting like a punk. you were neve like that before. How long have you seen his posts? It has bascially always been like this... not when he first came here. i stop reading most of his stuff b/c that is not what i remember from him. roman, if you want to act like the old hard man who gets under everybody skin, go ahead. one of the best i ever seen is bmr. he is second to the best, sonny. i can say this b/c i had my share of run in with him and i feel we have a unspoken truce between us. you need to grow up, b/c you are not a bmr and all you are doing is embarrassing yourself.

i really don't know which way i think about him. for now, i am going to go with what you and rex have to say. some part of him feel as he will not become a solid enuf hitter. i hope i am wrong.

  19. Let's not jump the gun here........ Joe is doing well in the last 2 weeks, but these are just baby steps. He is nowhere near able to be deemed "on the road to recovery". Let's just enjoy his recent success, root for him to continue and hope that he works is all out. Otherwise, somehow he will be a son of a b**** (deemed by some on here) if he slumps again next week. well i am feeling good and want to get that off my chest. i hope he continues his success. btw does joe b read this board. feeling good, or feeling guilty??? feeling good, not guilty.remember i never took a stand. all i asked but then was, was a prospect is 25 is he still considered a prospect. but either way, i will still eat crow when it is served cold and with some old style to wash it down.
  20. you know what, i never jump off paulie bandwagon, so i guess i am a fan. yet i was told that if i wanted to trade several other players im and not a fan and should not come go to the game.. so i am little confuse, am i or am i not a fan.

  23. yup in my opinion that is the best non trade the sox every did. whew, we sure got lucky that night.
  24. well its time to eat crow and i would gladly do so, if he turns it around and becomes the stud eveyone thought he would. i take back my questioning if you were a wash, considering your age and lack of improvement.
  25. ref to the ponson non trade, the second non trade the sox ever did. can any one mention which was the first?
