Ya hafta appreciate when this team executes the fundamentals properly.

Although this year's team has scored runs late, unlike last year, it's unlikely they'll score 4 against this bullpen.

Well, they set up there again, but the pitch got more of the plate. Luckily, the man can run.

Don Luis' obvious achilles was the pitch low and away. He had learned to lay off. Last AB he whiffed at 3 straight sweepers. Let's see what happens this next time.

Better to see Vargas at first. He doesn't make that play at third.

I don't get Vargas. A couple-three weeks ago he made a Viva La Brooksie play, fielded the ball in foul territory and threw the runner out on the fly. Now he skips a rock across the grass that the runner beats. It's the fundamentals, guys.

Really enjoying the Sox winning, especially them NOT beating themselves. Worried about Don Luis, though. Wish he could string together a few good games. Has anybody mentioned that Meidroth looks stoned alla time? Chill South Cali boy.
