  1. f***ing awful clock work by the officials at Duke, and now there's OT. 64-64 Duke and VT.
  2. QUOTE(Dick Allen @ Jan 6, 2007 -> 01:31 PM) What would you expect him to say, especially on a Chicago radio station? It would be interesting if he truely felt that way when the Cardinals were actually permitted to give him an offer, ie he's not under contract with the White Sox. This is a non story. Did they mention any off season conditioning? Supposedly he and Ozzie believed he wasn't in very good shape last season. I still wonder why at times he wears that sleeve thing on his elbow. He makes the Sox look the bad guys at this point in time though. Pretty smart if you ask me.
  3. It's riskier, but I'd still like to see him signed before the end of the 2007 season. I'm afraid to see how much bigger these contracts are going to get.
  4. QUOTE(Balta1701 @ Jan 6, 2007 -> 01:05 PM) Fine Mark...then do 1 more thing if you like the Fans in Chicago so much. Tell us how much it would take right now for you to sign an extension. Let us judge whether or not you're asking something reasonable. What do you consider reasonable, with the current going prices of pitchers on the market?
  5. Well at least you get to see the Colts game tomorrow, unless you lose NBC too.
  6. QUOTE(Brian @ Jan 6, 2007 -> 12:30 AM) Wow, I hadn't heard that. The show would have to end seeing he is the main character. Not surprised. He is having success making movies and has talent in that department. It's been rumored for a bit, and there's also been rumors if the show goes on that they'd make Turk's character the main focus of the show. QUOTE(rowandrules83 @ Jan 6, 2007 -> 12:32 AM) very true...you look at a show like That '70s Show that tried to go on after many of the main characters left, and it got quite bad. I'd be surprised if scrubs went past this season. I just got into the show when Comedy Central started showing reruns, and I'm kinda disappointed I hadn't watched it before that because it's hilarious. That 70's Show definitely came to mind for me. I really got into the show during the 4th season, and my fandom's really escalated this past year. And it making it into syndication is great, as it's on at a lot of accessible times now. A lot of my friends have been commenting how they're really getting into the show as well thanks to syndication, cool stuff.
  7. I read that as well. If that's the case, I hope they make this the final season. This is by far my favorite show on television, but I don't want this show to ruin a good thing by going on too far. It'd be best for them to go out on a good note.
  8. It's on CHISOX.com: http://whitesox.mlb.com/NASApp/mlb/news/ar...sp&c_id=cws
  9. QUOTE(Kalapse @ Jan 5, 2007 -> 05:06 PM) This past season of Family Guy has been pretty brutal, IMO. I really wouldn't have missed it had it not been picked up. Agreed. The little side stories or w/e you want to call them (this is like the time I fought snakes with Samuel L. Jackson on that plane) have taken over that show, and killed what was good about it.
  10. Season 1, Episode 9--"My Day Off"
  11. I'll be back in Bloomington later on today; I'll try and check this out as I'm unpacking.
  12. Really great episode tonight; lots of funny moments and some strong serious points too. The Janitor's mural and JD's daydream about treating that patient's depression with a box of kittens were classic.
  13. QUOTE(Reddy @ Jan 4, 2007 -> 12:50 AM) cameo... its a kickass game - beat it like 2 weeks after getting it... i got ridiculously hooked. i'd love to get other opinions after some of you guys beat it... i'm not sure i dig the end - but overall the game was phenominal I was this was with Ocarina too. I won't be able to beat this until Mid-March, as I only get one more day at home, before I'm heading back to school. Curious, how many hours did you log to beat it?
  14. I just finished with the stuff in Gerudo Desert; this story is awesome how they're tying this altogether. I like the Ganondorf cameo. There's no way I'll be able to finish this before I leave on Friday; despite me playing this like it's a crack addiction. It'll give me something to look forward to for Spring Break though.
  15. JD is really country. I remember during his Cribs episode, he was really proud of his Garth Brooks memorabilia.
  16. I differ with you on that. I think the map is pretty damn huge, and it takes some great elements from Link to the Past and Ocarina to make this game pretty bad ass.
  17. QUOTE(DBAH0 @ Jan 2, 2007 -> 08:28 PM) So is this the best adventure sort of game anyone has played over the past couple of years? I'm debating b/w buying a Wii or a XBOX360 right now FWIW. I'd say so. And now I'm stuck in Zora's place. I may have to give in and look up some stuff on the internet. That place is a serious maze with its setup.
  18. Thanks man. I'll be heading there first thing, when I start playing again tonight.
  19. QUOTE(BobDylan @ Jan 2, 2007 -> 05:26 PM) Yes. If you haven't looked in the bar, look in there. Medina or whatever her name is will tell you where the final one is once you've collected the rest. The bar in the castle, where Ilia or w/e her name is (the pink scent)?
  20. I'm too lazy to find the Wii thread. My bro got this for GC for Christmas. I'm assuming it's the same game on the two systems. I just started playing it this week, and I'm getting pretty hooked. But I'm at a frustrated point; I've beaten two of the Twilight Worlds (Forest and Death Mountain). I'm stuck just looking for these damn insects in the final twilight realm. I need to find two more. Did anyone else have problems finding the last set? I've gotten all of the obvious ones in the Zora area and Lake Hylia. Are they scattered through Hyrule or something? Hopefully someone can help me out.
  21. QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Jan 2, 2007 -> 12:49 PM) Vitale kept b****ing about IU not being there, did he ever stop to think that one R. Montgomery Knight didn't want them down there? He couldn't even mention IU by name once during any of his talks. That is telling all by itself. I was thinking the same thing while watching/listening the ceremonies and press conferences. It definitely seems to still be a touchy subject for him. It's not a big deal, but Indiana did release this statement.
  22. QUOTE(Balta1701 @ Jan 1, 2007 -> 11:15 PM) Posthumously, maybe they'll do it. I wish Vitale knew that's been IU's policy forever.
  23. Life is insane. 1997 was ten years ago. Tiger Woods won his first Masters in 1997.
