  1. QUOTE(aboz56 @ Jan 23, 2007 -> 08:00 PM) I missed it, was there a postgame handshake? Yeah.
  2. Congrats Illini fans. UI needed this win, and they came out doing all that was necessary. They did a great job keeping IU from doing anything on offense. It felt like we didn’t show up with the performance we had out there. That can be partially true, but Illinois played some great ball with Randle on the bench all night. IU needs to rebound with their next two against Michigan and Wiscy.
  3. QUOTE(Buehrle>Wood @ Jan 23, 2007 -> 07:49 PM) Escpecially Illinois. IU's defense is bored with them, and they've extended their D to and beyond the perimeter, making it easy for the Illini to drive. Yet they still are having trouble scoring. That's the key to scoring on the Hoosiers. Their main focus has been the perimeter, where we're holding teams to 22.6%. The holes in IU's defense are definitely inside at point blank.
  4. 23-23. s***ty half. Pretty shocking to see we're not down 10, with that pathetic drought. IU needs to start driving inside some more, and getting the ball to DJ.
  5. These defenses aren't that good. The offense for both teams has been horrid under 10 minutes.
  6. QUOTE(southsideirish71 @ Jan 23, 2007 -> 04:03 PM) Yes he is. Haha I say it in jest. Good stuff.
  7. Since you guys are discussing it, this is a thought Rex had earlier that I thought was interesting:
  8. Reggie Miller is a beautiful man. http://www.indystar.com/apps/pbcs.dll/arti...386/1004/SPORTS
  9. FWIW, they did mention Belichick on Mike and Mike this morning. And it seems it's been a topic of all the afternoon shows on ESPN so far. I haven't seen an episode of SC since the Colts game ended, so I don't know what they're making of it.
  10. WH and I were talking about this last night... The White Sox are definitely my favorite team by far, and then come the Hoosiers, a very close third is the Colts, followed by the Pacers. It's weird though, the whole time the Sox were in the playoffs and everything, nothing felt real. I never really could grasp it for what it was for some reason. However, when the Colts won last night, I got it immediately. It felt real, and everything. I'm having trouble putting this thought into words, but point is, it's weird, I feel like I'm enjoying this more than I did the WS.
  11. QUOTE(kapkomet @ Jan 22, 2007 -> 04:30 PM) LOL Post of the year, part two. That was a nice comeback. It's a shame I don't have your IMs from last night anymore...
  12. Solomon Wilcots looks like he's about to piss his pants, having to talk to Belichick.
  13. QUOTE(redandwhite @ Jan 22, 2007 -> 01:56 PM) IU got hosed this week. Meh, it's nice to be ranked. However, IU will really prove itself in the next three games (@ Illinois, vs. Michigan, vs. Wiscy), one way or the other. These games will be very telling of where IU is as a team in the conference and compared to the rest of the nation. IU can move up nicely and maintain a solid ranking, if they fare well in those games. They could also remain in the position they're now in, at the bottom or just out of the poll if they don't perform in the next week and a half. With all that being said...GO HOOSIERS!
  14. I don't think you guys have to worry about Lovie going anywhere.
  15. QUOTE(Jimbo @ Jan 22, 2007 -> 10:54 AM) Accuscore needs his own show on espn. Accuscore had the Pats.
  16. When was it decided that it's obligatory for car dealer's commercials to be f***ing insane?
  17. Now that it's Sunday, I do not have a good feeling about the Colts.
  18. QUOTE(AssHatSoxFan @ Jan 21, 2007 -> 10:04 AM) steven a smith on the sports reporters! Haha I was thinking about this as soon as I saw him.
  19. QUOTE(Rowand44 @ Jan 20, 2007 -> 04:46 PM) That was an interesting first half. Indiana is the better team but UCONN is at home, UCONN also needs this win. Should be a good 2nd half. That's the exact reason I was nervous about this game. I thought with UConn being at home and needing this more, that they'd keep this close all day. Great win for the Hoosiers. DJ with another great game, though he wasn't seen much in the second half. Wilmont picked up the slack and got hot in the second half. I really liked what I saw from Mike White in his first start also. The Hoosiers head to another tough road environment on Tuesday night, when we face Illinois.
