  1. Well there goes some of that goodwill of beating Wisconsin on Wednesday. Iowa gets another banner in the rafters, as they beat IU 81-75. I absolutely hate blaming anything on refs, but they shouldn’t be as much of a factor in the game as they were today. They really stunted this game. Considering we were in this game to the end, I’m not really mad in our effort; we were only going to win today if we could in spite of the refs. This pretty much kills any hopes of us contending for the Big Ten, as we don’t face either Wiscy or OSU again. We now have a week off to correct ourselves, as we don’t play again until Illinois comes here next Saturday.
  2. Indiana and Iowa tied 37-37 at the half @ Carver. Crazy. We couldn't have played any dumber, but these refs act like they've never seen a Big Ten game before. 22 fouls in the first half; let them f***ing play!
  3. ESPN2 will be known as ESPN on February 12.
  4. The only thing I hate is that the shows feel so short. Good stuff tonight. Ted was hilarious in this one.
  5. QUOTE(WHarris1 @ Feb 1, 2007 -> 08:25 PM) No. He sucked. I really hope DJ plays with this guy. And to you, it's time for an avy change.
  6. QUOTE(Rowand44 @ Feb 1, 2007 -> 08:24 PM) It happens all the time and it's ridiculous. Once again, IU was favored in this game and for people who have watched that team play over the last few weeks, it was certainly a good possibility that they would win that game. I know you didn't rush the court cause you forgot your parachute but overall I just think rushing the floor needs to stop. I wouldn't have, even if I was in a better seat. I could have against Illinois last year and IIRC Michigan State my frosh year, and I didn't both times. I don't like the idea of rushing the court, but I don't really care for the extreme negativity (not here) towards it either.
  7. I'm not saying it's right, but when is the last time a school that was ranked lower than the opponent didn't rush the court? ESPN has made this a norm, and it's not going stop until something really awful happens.
  8. QUOTE(Soxy @ Feb 1, 2007 -> 03:28 PM) Oh, Myers-Briggs Personality test, how are you always so right about me? That's exactly what I was when we did this a week ago in my Managing Behavior in Organizations class.
  9. Great game, great win. DJ had his name all over the first half. Apparently AJ should just wear that cast forever as he took over big time in the second half, when Wiscy started to cover DJ inside. Mike White continues to put in solid minutes down low too; I love his play. And Alando Tucker is crazy good. He was making so many shots that you just can not defend. Now we have to get ready to go to Iowa on Saturday. That becomes a trap game. IU can really put themselves in a good spot with a W on the road, before they get a week off.
  10. Majerus usually does Saturday Big Ten games; we'll probably get him for IU-Iowa Saturday.
  11. Have a good one x 2! :cheers
  12. QUOTE(Heads22 @ Jan 31, 2007 -> 12:58 PM) Super Bowl Sunday night should be fun. Unless Iowa still doesn't show network TV, there's no reason for you to be outside during the game anyways.
  13. QUOTE(RockRaines @ Jan 31, 2007 -> 10:30 AM) I thought the point of offense was scoring? I guess yards are a better way of determining who wins the game? Even if you take away the difference in the special teams TD's, the bears offense isnt really that far behind in scoring. I just think that is largely ignored in this weeks overanalyzation of the game. There's no denying that the Colts have the edge at offense in this game. You're lying to yourself if you say otherwise, regardless what the stats say. The same goes for the defense, the Bears have the better defense, even if there's a stat out there that says something else.
  14. QUOTE(DBAH0 @ Jan 30, 2007 -> 08:16 PM) Oh I definitely think I should now.
  15. I just noticed that the game's only on ESPN+, with UNC-Miami on ESPN and OSU-Purdue on ESPN2.
  16. QUOTE(Soxbadger @ Jan 30, 2007 -> 05:44 PM) I think the only White out that will be important is the announcers saying "White is out with foul trouble." Going to be interesting how he will try and defend all of the Wisconsin big men. That was Dave O'Brien awful-esque.
  17. I assume the teams are wearing what they wore at media day today: Colts: White jersey/pants Bears: Blue jersey/white pants
  18. I'd wear white. There's no reason not to. I think it's going to turn out pretty successful, as though this wasn't formally suggested by the athletic department, the way it's being promoted/advertised is just the same as it was for the two games last year. It's not as good as Penn State's white outs, but I think it still looks pretty tight.
  19. I'm pretty psyched about tomorrow night's game, though I'm in the top of the cave (balcony). There's been a grass roots pitch for a white out tomorrow night, we'll see how it turns out. It should be a good game.
  20. The White Sox already did this: http://chicago.whitesox.mlb.com/cws/fan_fo...inder_rules.jsp
  21. I always liked Edge, even though he left for the paper. http://www.indystar.com/apps/pbcs.dll/arti...RTS03/701300442

I'll get it before I get out of IU, since I can get a student discount on it. But there's no reason to get it yet.
  23. Hello again. Tiger wins his third straight, fifth overall Buick Invitational; it's also his seventh consecutive PGA Tour victory.
