  1. QUOTE(RockRaines @ Feb 21, 2007 -> 04:40 PM) Too bad its a 10 foot basket in the NBA. And its more impressive, and visually pleasing to see a shorter guy get some air under hit feet to dunk the ball, than a guy reaching up and putting it down. Not if it takes 50 tries and we've seen everything he can do last year. A little guy can only do so much.
  2. The Nutty Professor is now a JAX news anchor: http://www.firstcoastnews.com/inside/bios/...x?storyid=51563
  3. Me Gusta. My only gripe would be that the calendars are not in a Windows toolbar friendly position.
  4. I'm not a fan of predicting numbers, but I do have a good feeling about this season. We will be back in the playoffs.
  5. Water, sun, and oxygen. Just grow the 'stache back.
  6. I'm really not a fan, but I'm not effected either way.
  7. QUOTE(SleepyWhiteSox @ Feb 18, 2007 -> 06:27 PM) Was there almost an exact pic of Bobby like this last year? If my bad memory serves me correct... The 2006 version:
  8. At least Jenks doesn't look like he did a year ago. I bet he still lost his share of weight; it's just not going to be that noticeable. And Darin Erstad looks like David Duval.
  9. http://www.soxtalk.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=46632 They're in the archives in their respective season.
  10. http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=2769871 Michael Irvin axed from ESPN.
  11. He was great while in Chicago, but unfortunately I'll remember him more for the struggles he had on his way out.
  12. Agreed. It should be him and GG in the finals. I'm pulling for GG.
  13. Terrible week for the Hoosiers as they lose road games at Purdue and Michigan (Tommy Amaker's first win over IU), to have their record fall to 17-8.
  14. This one felt like it could've came from seasons 1-3. But I'm a broken record, 99.98% of the time, I will love anything coming out of Sacred Heart.
  15. QUOTE(Flash Tizzle @ Feb 16, 2007 -> 01:13 PM) Konerko needs 255 HR's to reach 500. He'll be 31 years old once the season begins. At a realistic rate of 35 HR's a year, it'll take him approximately seven more seasons to reach the milestone -- which by that point shouldn't matter much. We're also assuming his hip condition doesn't worsen through the forthcoming baseball seasons. You have to put it this way -- was Konerko one of the best 1B during his peak seasons in MLB? Top 10, perhaps, but not enough for entrance into the HOF. Buehrle may possibly enter, but he'll need to pitch on-par with career numbers for the next 15 years. All the while collecting over 10 victories per season. It's a long shot, but more realistic than Konerko as Buehrle will likely outlast Paul in the majors. Agreed, Konerko's going to end up with good numbers, but they're not going to be on the level of what a HOFer should have in this era of baseball.
  16. Alright, here's the deal, Kalapse, the creator of the buttons on the new skin is having doubts about them now and came up with a new set. All the admins/mods are pretty indifferent about changing or not changing, so we're opening this up to you. Do you guys prefer the current buttons with the Sox logos, etc. Or do you prefer this updated version:
  17. Dwight Howard wanted to raise the rim to 12 feet for a dunk in the Slam Dunk tomorrow night, but the NBA nixed it.
  18. I don't love you Kalapse, never will, but continue to post pictures.
  19. QUOTE(Kalapse @ Feb 15, 2007 -> 10:34 PM) Yeah this kind of upsets me, apparently the pitchers and catchers report on the 16th (tomorrow) even though an article on whitesox.com claimed they report on the 17th (Saturday) so my sig has been providing people with false information all week. You're a horrible person.
