QUOTE(fathom @ Feb 15, 2007 -> 10:20 PM) The accident happened Monday night in Champaign. That's what I'm asking about. I know when and where the accident happened.

QUOTE(fathom @ Feb 15, 2007 -> 07:58 PM) The more information I'm hearing, the worse this gets. The latest tidbits going around is that there was a 2 hour span between the accident and Smith calling 911. The blood tests are for confirmation of what the breathlyzer showed, but supposedly breathlyzer's aren't permissible in court in this situation due to it being taken 2 hours after the accident at the hospital. A rumor going around that has yet to be confirmed is that there was a basketball party on Friday night, and another player might be in trouble for providing alcohol to minors. Hopefully these sources are wrong, but this might be the beginning of the end for Weber. Where was this "party" because the Illini were most likely in Bloomington by that time. So I'm going to call BS on that.

Well Purdue protected home court and returned the favor to IU, 81-68. It was a close game for the first 30 minutes, but then Purdue started hitting everything. Teague had 32 and Landry dropped in 22, as Purdue ends a 5 game losing streak against IU. IU needs to find a way to split this week's games, with a victory on the road at Michigan Saturday. -

Tough game for IU tonight at Purdue, where the Boilers are 13-1. Tonight could be a huge confidence builder for the rest of the season, as 4 of our last 6 are on the road. -
I just watched the video on another site out of curiosity, it's too bad the video's such bad quality. However, it's nice to see Mencia ripped so bad. I've never liked Mencia or his show, hopefully this kills his career a bit.

What an awesome thread title. Due to the language, NSFW, but it is a must-see.

QUOTE(whitesoxfan101 @ Feb 14, 2007 -> 02:15 PM) I don't know how this is THAT suspecious. He was driving a 12 year old Lexus his grandpa gave him, those things SUCK in snow, and there you have it. And 11:30 PM is practically sunset for a college student, let alone athlete probably coming home from working out. If this were a Friday night, I'd be far more suspecious. The one thing that is odd is he drove the thing after the crash, but he had a concussion and the weather was really bad and who knows, panic sets in.....at least they are both alright. But I'll give Jamar the benefit of the doubt for now, this isn't as cut and dry looking as the infamous apartment stereo incident with Luther and Rich. Not this year they wouldn't, which is why it has been so maddening. The weirder thing, from what I'm reading, is that Smith drove home and went inside after the accident, and Carlwell was still in the car.

QUOTE(Soxbadger @ Feb 14, 2007 -> 03:29 PM) Well as Ive already shown Illinois has a better resume than most of the last teams selected. Im not going to go through every single reason, but if you look at the RPI, SOS, etc the Big 10 teams are in the top in every category. Teams like Illinois are getting hurt because unlike the Big East or Big 12, the top 2 teams in the Big 10 are much harder to beat. If Illinois, MSU, etc only won 1 game against OSU or Wisconsin, they would be considered locks. Why should they be punished because the top 2 teams are superior than other conferences top 2 teams? That's the funny thing. IU's done that, and they're still not considered a lock on the other tourney status page ESPN runs (not that I'm worried or anything). -
