QUOTE(Gregory Pratt @ Dec 6, 2006 -> 09:38 AM) I'm not too familiar with Colorado's system, but doesn't their pitching-staff owe more to the humidor than skill? Huh? Colorado's always been a tough place to be a pitcher. Just recently, are they finally figuring things out there.

QUOTE(THEWOOD @ Dec 4, 2006 -> 02:38 PM) It scares me that everyone thinks Florida is going to get blown out. It reminds me of 2002 when OSU was HIGHLY doubted against the Hurricanes. http://danshanoff.blogspot.com/2006/12/mon...s-decision.html -

QUOTE(Rowand44 @ Dec 3, 2006 -> 08:30 PM) This is going to happen. And what upsets are you talking about? I do go with a lot of upsets in my bracket every year during March Madness, but everything I call at least is usually semi close, guess everyone hates me now cause I'm making an unpopular pick. Where's the Tigers playoffs thread? -

QUOTE(NUKE_CLEVELAND @ Dec 3, 2006 -> 07:42 PM) The Bears also haven't been annointed ( at least until earlier this year ) as the be-all, end-all, invincible juggernaut of a football team as the Colts were. Hence the whole OVERRRRR........RRRRATED CLAP...CLAP... CLAP-CLAP-CLAP I'm not sure who's exactly overrating them (besides you, so you can type out your worthless chant). All I've heard from the media and anyone, that the Colts don't have the defense (especially on the run) to do it this year. -

QUOTE(SoxFan101 @ Dec 3, 2006 -> 05:29 PM) Yeah but how about TD's and yards. I'm just responding to Knight's post. I'm indifferent to the Bears. -

Just for the record: Orton had 25 TOs in 15 games his rookie year. Rex has 24 through 12. -
Welcome to the board. I edited the title, to reflect this not being an actual rumor.

QUOTE(NUKE_CLEVELAND @ Dec 3, 2006 -> 04:05 PM) Who cares. Indy lost to Freekin Tennesee. Lets go boys chant with me. OVERRRR...............RRRRATED CLAP.............CLAP CLAP-CLAP-CLAP OVERRRR...............RRRRATED CLAP.............CLAP CLAP-CLAP-CLAP As a Colts fan, I don't care. Our season starts in January. When the Jags lose later today, the Colts will clinch the AFC South. -

QUOTE(greasywheels121 @ Dec 3, 2006 -> 03:56 PM) With 12 seconds left in the Colts-Titans game, Vince Young botches a play, and comes up limping. Rob Bironas hits a 60 yarder, to give the Titans a 20-17 winner. QUOTE(WHarris1 @ Dec 3, 2006 -> 03:59 PM) Did the Titans hit a 60 yarder for f***ing real? QUOTE(WilliamTell @ Dec 3, 2006 -> 03:59 PM) 60 Yark Field Goal, are you kidding me????????!!!!!!!! QUOTE(Tony82087 @ Dec 3, 2006 -> 03:59 PM) Did the Titans just make a 60 yard FG? No, no he didn't. -

Good lord Kansas. -
Alright, I FINALLY found some time to check the new show. This was pretty beneficial, as I’ve been pretty ignorant of anything White Sox since the season ended. Though I never felt that we could do better than ’05, regardless of any improvements in 2006, last season was incredibly disappointing. And I think you’re probably right Mario, the lack of heart was probably one of the biggest downfalls of the season. Because on paper, this team should’ve destroyed the World Champ Sox, but that never was the case. It was never all clicking at once. It’s unfortunate that it never all clicked at once. Everyone had their moments in the season, some more than others, but we never got going on all cylinders. The Cotts trade does give the Sox some bullpen potential. Though it’s rough to loss Cotts, it seems like we could be pretty well set in the pen, if they stay healthy. The point you made around the Soriano signing is valid. Soriano’s probably one of the only players that have been signed this offseason, that’s been paid what they’re worth. There’s been a scary amount of overpaying this offseason. I don’t know what that means for the future and contracts. And believe it or not Gage, I agree with you on the Frank sentiments. I’ll always be his biggest fan, but that contract he got from Toronto is a big risk for them. Hopefully he can stay healthy for them and provide them some numbers, but I find that tough to see. Nice Mo Vaughn shoutout and Gary Matthews contract numbers. I agree about your thoughts on trading Garland and Crede, Mario. If you were willing to deal with all the struggles and everything for them to get to the point that they are on the cusp of stardom, why/what is the reason for trading them now? I also have no problem with Uribe. He is one of the best defensive players in the game and produces at least 20 HRs a season. That’s plenty to get from my standpoint, from a #9 hitter. Good show guys; it was nice to get a hot stove update from you guys.

Thank you all for the birthday wishes; it was a pretty bad ass day! QUOTE(NorthSideSox72 @ Dec 1, 2006 -> 11:03 AM) Happy B-Day Greasy. Where the heck does that name come from anyway? Heh, I wish I had a good story for that answer. However, it's just my random nickname from a group of friends in middle school. We all made up crazy nicknames for each other, and they really didn't have to do with anything. And I've basically used it for my alias for everything on the net. QUOTE(witesoxfan @ Dec 1, 2006 -> 04:22 PM) happy cape day The SuperSonics had to be my Pacers tonight, on a last minute shot too. Boo. Our capes are still better.

QUOTE(Buehrle>Wood @ Dec 1, 2006 -> 11:48 AM) Meh, I like that idea. It's better than most others to decide home-field advantage. Agreed, and the ASGs have been pretty good since.

QUOTE(sox4lifeinPA @ Dec 1, 2006 -> 08:37 AM) my guess is the black guy or the painter. peter has been a main focus since the beginning. same with the cheerleader hiro is the only likable character on the show Funny you say that. Do you remember that he was Franklyn on Scrubs? Supposedly he'll be in a mid-season episode, where they play off his powers in Heroes. And yes, I know, I'm stupidly obsessed with Scrubs.

QUOTE(CWSGuy406 @ Dec 1, 2006 -> 08:32 AM) Apparently so. I was sleeping about five minuts ago, and the kid next to me is blasting "Let it Snow". Figured something was up, and then the people running up and down our floor yelling "Snow Day!" sealed it. Check here: http://www.marquette.edu/. Beautiful. Can't remember the last time I had one of these. Crazy. Well enjoy it, you lucky bastard.

QUOTE(sox4lifeinPA @ Nov 30, 2006 -> 11:12 PM) I'm used to watching the show without commercials, so much that I've watched all 5 seasons without commericals. It's really hard to get into when it's broken up into segments. to better answer your question, I don't know how I feel about the episode...I'll let you know when I download it. Scrubs typically has really great season openers and terrible season enders. Ah I got what you're saying. I was living off all the DVDs this summer too. It was my first TV show DVD purchase. Love it. And to complete my viewing, I rewatched season 5 online this month, before tonight's premiere.

QUOTE(sox4lifeinPA @ Nov 30, 2006 -> 11:00 PM) I'm officially never watching scrubs on TV again. In fact, since i haven't had tv since march, I never watching non-sports or history channel related tv again. Boo for commercials.... Hooray internet TV! Are you watching it on the internet, or did you just not like the episode?
