From the baseball I've watched in my 18 years on this planet, I always take what I see in April and September and throw it away when judging a prospect.

If he misses next week and takes the bye to get healthy i can certainly do that... but if hes out a long time... this season is gonna be hard to watch.

While it be nice to have to most talented player in the league on our team.... I think the money spent on Beltran can be much better utilized spread over 3 or 4 players.

We're both college freshies, so i dont know the value you will take my advice with, but I would encourage you to actively become a major part of her life. I mean chances are... if they are in different states, they will most likely break up, and be honest thats what you want. Treat her like she is your g/f without actually having that title... I mean when the fracture in their relationship occurs.. the transition will be seemless. just my two cents. P.S. I had a dirty love making session last week with a asian girl.... it was interesting to say the least. just thought I'd throw that out there.

Does it make any sense to alienate people from any event ever? I mean if you wanna hang out with just the younger guys, invite everyone and just hang out with the younger guys. I'd like to think that Soxtalk is an inclusive community, rather than a enviroment that is fractured by age.... I can't stop you from doing what you want, but I guess the one question that is pick at my brain is.... why exclude some of the more knowledgable sox fans on the site, just because their older than you....? from the private conversations i've had with some of the posters over the age of thirty, i've learned quite a bit, there are a ton of interesting people on this site, and i would think that they would be the people you'd want to spend time at a game with having them pick out things you might not of thought of. It doenst really matter to me, but this was a real headscratcher to me.

When we(Soxnet) sent a list of interview questions to pappy(North) he sent us back our questions with answers such as... Yes, No, Lee, Sox,.... quite the feature article to put on our growing website.... ontop of that... he took the questions i sent him and used for his show later on that week, without giving us any props.
