I was in wicker park today, and someone had taken all the bush/cheney signs down infront of pitzker school.... so i went over and kicked a whole in a couple of Kerry ones.... just thought I'd share that.

If you put Carl Everett at DH for MOST of the time, and then on a day where Lee has played 9 or 10 games in a row you let him just DH and let Hot Carl play left.... your letting Lee have some rest while still giving him his at-bats.... and your still keeping two of your better hitters in the game because of the versitility that the DH can bring....thats what im trying to get across. Carl is more of what I want in my DH than Frank is, because he can actually do more than DH....

For a DH i'd like to see someone who can rotate in and out of that position, giving people a rest when they need it.... So it does make sense.... See the 2002 Anaheim Angels..... And stop overglorifying Frank....best hitters in the game and Frank Thomas shouldn't be mentioned in the same sentence.

Im going to borrow a line from Chris Rock.... "Do you want a f***in cookie?" He shouldn't be patted on the back for something he shouldn't be doing in the first place. I love Frank and i love what he's done for the sox but I mean you cant let that blind you from seeing that he's not really what we need on this team right now.

I'd rather have players on my team that can do more than only hit.... What else can Frank do... he's not a leader of any sorts... he doesn't run....doesn't field... I just think that on THIS type of team that Ozzie wants.... we dont have a spot for a DH only player.

Honestly.... im happy for the red sox, but you can keep Terry Francona. If he wanted to jump ship today and take ozzie's job i'd decline. Congrats to him, he'll be remembered forever... but im just not impressed, and you weren't either until game 4 of the ALCS. XOXO Murcieone

Fearless prediction.... Frank Thomas will not be wearing the silver and black in 2006, some will be dissapointed but the team will be better off without his DH only ass.

I disagree about the AL thing.... but I hate pitchers who walk alot of batters so I also would pass on this one.

Clement has a nassssssty slider, I'd definitely take him on my staff. I would go for him if we could get him at his market value.
