The idea that I thought was that he let's guys decide how they want to approach hitting and then works with them as the back of their baseball card tells you what you need to know. I am not certain he actually works on a philosophy.

My guess would be his philosophy is get into a hitters count and lay on the hitters pitch. They always are agressive on 3-1, 2-0, 2-1, etc. Like if a pitcher goes 3-0 and he throws a complete get me over to get to 3-1, it seems they are hacking at everything thrown up there. Unfortunately the scouts picked up on this and exploit it
just my guess, I have zero idea what Walker's philosophy actually is
