I gave up on card collecting right after the strike. I'd love to get rid of them for a decent price. Perhaps selling them by teams on ebay would generate the most interest? I'm betting the internet with stats sites sucked away a lot of the life of cards because there's no reason to look at those cards for historical records. Just goofy pictures and players holding "f*** face" bats.

God, heaven forbid we have some fun after losing a yet another game to a no name pitcher with some posters in the game thread quitting on the team in the 5th inning. These threads always get bumped around Memorial Day or the ASB. Usually by Knightni with a " " smilie. It's fun to review these with the amount of posters (myself included) who act like armchair GMs or managers and there are a handful who complain about it thinking the posters are trying to act like they're better than Sox management.

Why not just get Tejada and his .353/.380/.527 line? Tejada is making over $13 million (I think $14 million) this year. It shouldn't take too much to get him as long as we're taking on all the salary.

No, there was speculation with Sox sending scouts down there. Then the Tribune was saying Oswalt was at odds with the manager, then a Houston beat writer is reporting without any sources that Oswalt wouldn't waive his NTC to come here if the Sox were to make a trade.
