Do you believe he is legitimately hurt somewhere?
-
In the video he says not to blame KW and Ozzie. so it's our fault and some of the media members. DFA him when Quentin comes back.
-
Oh man! Another injury! We're so unlucky, just like the 2007 team!
-
BOOOOOOOOOOOOO. Please explain your crappy numbers before your injury and the rest of your career, Mr. Wise.

Nick Swisher went 2-for-3 with a home run and two RBI in a win over the Rays on Monday night. He had a tremendous month of April before cooling off substantially in May, but his bat seems to be heating up again here in June, where he's gone 9-for-18 with two homers and six RBI through his first seven games. Swisher's average for the season is only .257, but he's got 12 homers, 35 RBI, a .395 on-base percentage and a .549 slugging percentage. Pretty decent numbers for a No. 8 hitter.

Sox are proving the SABRmaticians correctly by proving that clutch hitting doesn't exist. -
Josh Fields questions future with White Sox

Someone should tell him Ozzie and KW work in strange and mysterious ways. Maybe he'll "understand" that and start hitting. -

Buddy Bell is in terms of all-time managers. -
2005!!!11!!! Trade for Garland now. Just remember kids, it's Freddy, not that Freddie crap.
-
He'll be out their facing Bonderman tonight because Brian doesn't have a good history against Jeremy. Of course Ozzie said back in 2006 that before Brian ever face Bondo. Yeah, but he doesn't have anything against him. I'm trying to give up on Anderson (had him in my please don't bring back sig) but Wise is making it harder and harder each day.

6/7 Cleveland Indians @ Chicago White Sox 1:05 CDT - CSN

Carlos Lee When he was with the Sox he was all over the place. Look at 2002 and 2003 for example. One year he's walking more than he's striking out, and the other he not walking and striking out a lot. -

It still takes Ozzie Guillen to play them properly. -

From today's game: Bot 1st: St. Louis - A. Pujols hit sacrifice fly to deep left, S. Schumaker and C. Rasmus scored Just how far did he hit it?
-
K watch: Chris Davis: 81 in 181 at-bats Mark Reynolds: 77 in in 198 at-bats The scary thing is Reynolds produces so he gets constitent playing time. He has about two full seasons worth of plate appearances under his belt and he has 410 career K's.

The three biggest ties Sosa has had to steroids: 1. His best friend is Manny Alexander. The same Alexander who loaned his Benz full of syringes and steroids to a bat boy in 2000. 2. "losing" $20k cash in a brown bag in Venezuela 3. His testimony on capitol hill where he was hiding behind his lawyer and supposed lack of the english language. He was smart enough to say he never did any "illegal steroids." Notice the keyword "illegal." If I go to Amsterdam to smoke pot, but I'm clean here, does that mean I've never done any illegal drugs? His numbers spiked for a short period late in his career, his figure changed dramatically, and he was really, really edgy when he was ever confronted about using PED's. the numbers are there, but the HOF also looks at character. His career OBP isn't very good for a career slugging OF and his OPS is below .900. It's clear he was only focused on swinging for the fences each time at the plate. Good riddance.

They tried at the end of July 2006 and blew his first 3 chances. Farnsworth has been studly as of late. 3.38 ERA, 1.07 WHIP, 19 K's in 18.2 IP.
-
It apperas Dayan is no different than most cubans with his refusal to walk. It'd be nice to see that slugging % get up there too. .286/.303/.381/.684 OPS in AA

Made by a convicted Child pedo. I saw Hangover and Drag me to Hell tonight. Both were good. It's too bad Drag me to Hell was only rated PG-13 as some teenagers would just not STFU and the entire first row of 10 year olds were ejected about 30 minutes into the movie.
-
If he does couldn't the Sox just say "get the f*** out here" and cut him from AAA in 10 seconds?
-
So the Twins traded Johan Santana, Matt Garza, and Jason Barlett for this: Delmon Young: .231/.272/.265 1 HR (barely got over the wall and BA would've had a chance at it,) 14 RBI's, 1 2B, 5 GIDP's, 41 K's in 117 at-bats Carlos Gomez: .217/.276/.302 0 HR, 4 RBI's, 4 SB, 3 CS, 26 K's in 106 at-bats

I was thinking about him too after he hit a slam. I remember him getting hype in the minors leagues and then showing zero power in the big leagues.

Or signing Freddy Garcia for the nostalgia factor.

If a player is putting up numbers worth his current salary I don't consider that "saving" money by getting rid of him. We lost an expensive asset with Vazquez, Contreras and Thome will be off the books after this year, certainly will not get similar salaries with the Sox next year, and Konerko will be off the books after that. That said I'm thrilled the Sox aren't tolerating poor play (Lillibridge got somewhat of a break) with Betemit and Miller tossed to the curb so easily to season. But since we got rid of Swisher's 2011 salary we were able to eat $1.3 million of Betemit's 2009 contract!!!111!! Hopefully KW is close to pull the plug on Wise soon as well. I just hope Gordon doesn't make the mistake of talking to some girls at a bar that Ozzie Guillen Jr.'s kid has interest in too. It's still holding Anderson back.
-
Who specifically am I targeting, and why should I tolerate getting called out on something that isn't true about myself? That's stupid. How many people predicted Beckham would be with the team before the Crosstown classic? Probably not many, but that doesn't mean I think they're stupid. In fact if you look back you will probably find the people who DID think he would be with this team much sooner than later were considered the silly ones.
