Why yes, Don Cooper does have a medical degree and can "fix" BJ Ryan. Trade winds forum please?

"Welcome Cubs fans to TD Ameritrade Field!"
santo=dorf replied to knightni's topic in The Diamond Club
Cubs fans often defend themselves by saying their fans don't go to games just for Wrigley and they could sell out anywhere. We'll I'd like to see them build a 100,000 seat stadium in the Northern suburbs nowhere near a neighborhood bar and see if they continue to march the sheep in. If they were "true" fans, wouldn't they not care what their home stadium was like? -
That, KW's (generally) mediocre team, and some questionable pricing strategies set by the marketing group. Don't blame the fans entirely for that.

White Sox Acquire RP Tony Pena from ARI for Brandon Allen

Holds is the stupidest stat out there. A team with a manager like LaRussa can really rack 'em up. -
You have a better idea to find Colon?
-
Pie is terrible and out of options. Another bust Cubs positional prospect?? No Way!
-
Can anyone in the Sox brass honestly not blame fans in this economy avoiding those bloated Dodger ticket prices?
-
Another dud from Marquez tonight. 2 IP, 9 H, 7 ER, 1 BB, 2 K's ERA up to 10.35 WHIP is a pathetic 2.10 Jhonny is pitching well after him however.

We owe them for TCQ and setting Chris Young up financially for life? -
Yes, but because it involved the Holocaust it received an unworthy nomination for best picture. If this movie was set in the late 1800's/early 1900's where bigfoot was f***ing George Washington Carver's brains out, then put on trial for beating or selling slaves, and finishing with her donating all of her money to the NAACP, it'd be just as boring and pointless. didn't you call it the best movie of 2008? watching old stock footage, there appears to be a lot of older people waiting in the long lines to see Star Wars. Also as I mentioned beforehand, Star Wars was nominated for best picture in 1977.

I seem to recall him crapping his pants in the 6th before getting bailed out by Alexei. The playoff teams are more likely to represent the 2008 Rays, certainly not the last place 2008 Tigers.
-
Gavin = Mental midget. See last year's playoff performance. If Jose keeps pitching the way (don't forget 2005! he has, that's better than Floyd (who hopefully won't return back to being a pumpkin.) I'm nervous on buying high on Rolen.
-
which means he doubles, walks and strikeouts on average just as much as the two individuals.
-
He's the new Esteban German. Callaspo hits everyone in the AL Central however.
-
Does Thome have the same foot problems as Thomas? No. Has Thome put up better numbers over the past three years than Thomas? yes.
-
the numbers don't lie. Besides, my direct contact is in the minors not in the majors so it's possible they could come from someone else on the 25 roster.

Yet some Sox fans can't even spell his name correctly after almost a decade of his services on the South Side.

I'm going to all three this weekend. Still keeping my fingers crossed that a certain crappy Twins OF has left me tickets again.
-
But, but, his WINS!! Man. Must be the same reason why Tim Wakefield got in

They're activating Josh Hamilton from rehab, I mean, the DL. Undeserving "All-Star." *shakes fist*

...and the scores from the time to movie came out (although this doesn't reflect how much the critic enjoyed it) http://www.rottentomatoes.com/top/bestofrt...r.php?year=2008 The Wrestler 98% Let The Right One In 98% Wall-E 96% The Dark Knight 94% Milk 94% Slumdog Millionaire 94% Iron Man 93% Frost/Nixon 92% The Reader 62% Oh but that academy just loves the Holocaust! There better be some great films coming out later this year because 2009 has been filled with duds http://www.rottentomatoes.com/top/bestofrt...r.php?year=2009 The 10 best major films: 1. Up 97% 2. Star Trek 95% 3. Drag Me To Hell 93% 4. Coraline 88% 5. Adventureland 88% 6. State of Play 85% 7. Two Lovers 84% 8. I Love You, Man 82% 9. The Hangover 78% 10. Sunshine Cleaning 73% I can only see Up being nominated when the time comes, but it would be impressive to see if Star Trek was selected ala Raiders of the Lost Ark or Star Wars from years ago.

Damn, Chris Davis got sent down. I was really hoping to see him get 250 K's.
-
Yes, they were. The first half of the movie was just Kate Winslet's hairy face, bad chest and huge feet all over some kid that was supposed to be 16 and the second half is filled with quite a few :rolly: moments.

I like the 10 movie nods. Why should the best movie have the same amount of entries as best supporting actor or actress? Why do critics have top 10, not 5, lists? The Reader certainly did not deserve a nomination for best picture last year. WALL-E, The Dark Knight, Grand Torino, and The Wrestler were significantly better.
