Here's a couple no one has mentioned yet: Spending Government money protecting endangered species (Just all part of the circle of life.) Handicap parking spaces which lead to huge ones being made, or excessive spots created which aren't used all the time. Some of the criteria to qualify for a handicap spot is quite suspcioius too. We're not just talking wheelchair bound folks, but people who are blind (they aren't the ones driving) or people who have a hard time remembering phone numbers. I work in a factory and cannot believe how many handicap spots there are, and most of them are occupied by guys who work on the floor!
