  1. for reference, here's the mitchell list: http://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2007/12...EATURE.html#121
  2. Everett was crushing the ball with Texas in 2003 and was really out of shape in 2004. Just Sayin'. Not surprised some names on there of guys who are really injury prone, pitchers specifically: Jason Schmidt, Wood, Prior, and Hampton.
  3. Ummm, Alex Sanchez is on the list. I think Jay Gibbons (suspended,) Brent Abnernathy, Dan Smith (?,) Terry Adams (way old,) and Jose Lima (was out of the league until the Royals picked him up midseason) meet those specs.
  4. Beasrsox, just pay the $150 to fix it like the rest of us. Also, you have a 60GB so you could get it fixed, mark it up on Ebay (it's the only backwards compatible system) and then buy a new system if and when the price drops. Shia LaBeouf agrees http://videogames.yahoo.com/events/plugged...ds-him-/1329254
  5. From that list I'd say the most shocking is Helton as I recall him exploding about being suspected of roids. There are guys on that list that have been suspended, apologized, rumored positive tests, tied to BALCO, and tied to Jose Canseco. Who wants to group each guy accordingly?

It wasn't as bad as I thought, in fact it was better than the first, but that's not saying much. The racist twins sucked. The fighting scenes were much better but the Decepticons robots weren't recognizable at all. The old man jokes with Skyfire blew. There were too many dumb jokes involving the male crotch. Some of the running sequences at the end seem to be edited wrong. You see the couple running, then get blown away after jumping over a building, then they are right back up and running without another scratch not close to the building they just crashed into. I like Shia was able to get such a nice cast so fast after teleporting. I forgot they had to write his injury into the movie.
  7. Fix Mark's last name in the title. he's a cornerstone of the franchise for criss' sake.
  8. How would the elimination of paper currency affect the black markets in the united states?
  9. I was going to post a picture of a Visa card as the future currency and that way people can put that religious garb on their own card instead of a piece own by a so called secular government.
  10. Why am I not surprised to not get a Royals update from High Millege after the Cardinals swept them? I love how Trey Hillman came out and said they were going to pitch to Pujols and Albert absolutely crushed them.
  11. I thought Marijuana wasn't a bannable offense.
  12. What do you mean, "add?" Buehrle has always been that way. Thankfully we don't have to listen to Hawk whine about it.
  13. That's a China site. Beware of phonies. Another picky note about yesterday's jersey is the little majestic logo on the left sleeve. So do you want a 1959 jersey? Or a 2009 jersey that looked like a knockoff of the 1959 jersey?

I was just getting ready to post I was going to be looking forward to seeing you defend this movie. The first one sucked, but I still might see the second one this weekend. Maybe you shouldn't expect a masterpiece, but I'm certainly not looking forward to two jar-jar bink characters and crude sexual jokes like a transformers with visible testicles.
  15. The Dodgers are the reason why our stadium was originally built with ugly ass blue seats. He have to hate them.
  16. Do you really want to pay $225 (that's what they were costing at the ballpark) for a throwback jersey that has the wrong number sizes, wrong color and is made out of the wrong material? Look around on the web. Mitchell and Ness sometimes has 30% or 40% off codes and licensed sites have discounts too. I've seen the Aparicio and Fox (the one I own) jerseys on sale for as low as $185.
  17. Except for the fact that the numbers were too huge, the color of the jerseys weren't cream colored, and they weren't made out of wool. the jerseys they wore in 2005 looked much better.
  18. http://www.pantagraph.com/articles/2009/02...95002676116.txt Near the end.
  19. The Sox would be insane to offer Tejada arbitration with his $13-14 million salary this year. They got lucky with Cabrera and these players aren't going to turn down a guaranteed $10 million. That said, I wouldn't mind seeing the Sox acquire the former roider to play third for the rest of year.
  20. Wrong. HR's count towards BA, but not towards BABIP.
  21. Personally I thought it was a glorified Minor League park. I'd put it a tick below our ballpark, so that's not too bad.
