I still say Kerry's military service, and Bush's lack thereof, should not be issues. We should be talking about REAL issues, like the economy, the environment, social services, civil rights, personal freedoms, etc. Bush doesn't want to discuss THE issues.

Call me an idiot if you want (well, maybe you better not, new rules and all) but I think we can get Kyle Farnsworth relatively cheap...with the right coaching, and his 95+ mph heat, he can be a dmaned good closer.

I (also) agree with you, Indy. I hate censorship. However, I can see that there are times when it is necessary. That being said, I have to reiterate that (since I'm sure the "new rules" are directly aimed at me) the new rules, if they are going to be applied, have to be applied to EVERYONE, and have to be applied "across the board", not arbitrarily.

I'm all for the new policy. Just do not enforce it arbitrarily. The same rules should apply to ALL posters. Peace.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but, under Clinton, didn't we have a Federal Surplus, NOT a Federal Deficit? Explain to me how we are safer. True, Sadaam is gone, but, where is Osama? What about Iran? They are the ones that needed to be taken out, not the Iraqis. The Dept. of Homeland Security is no better suited to protect the US than when we were INS, Customs, Border Patrol, etc. Just the name has changed.

"Flip flopping" to me is a sign of intelligence, not indecisiveness. For example, say that you believed that stem-cell research is bad. Then, after doing more research, and learning more about it, you change your mind. IMO...Intelligent people change their minds after seeing/researching ALL sides of an issue; stupid people never change their minds!

Here is my "2 cents", (even though most of you don't want to hear it, and I'll probably get "selectively censored" again... Bush can ONLY run on a "Bash Kerry" platform, because he (Bush) HAS DONE ABSOLUTELY NOTHING in the last 4 years to improve the lives of Americans (unless you are one of the wealthy). We are not any safer than we were 4 years ago, and in focusing on the "war on Terror", Bush has trashed the economy, the environment, social services, human rights, civil rights, etc. He has to go down as the worst president this country has ever had. Say what you want about Kerry, but, he cannot be worse than Bush.

If there is something on tv that you don't like, you don't have to watch it...IF you don't like this discussion, you don't have to read it. It's that simple. 1549 and I are having a civil conversation, no name calling!

The time periods to which I referred were those times in which the land was known as "Palestine". Not Canaan or Israel or any other name the territory may have had. But...if you go back as far as 1844, there has always been a Jewish majority in Jerusalem, never a Muslim majority (and the Muslims claim that Jerusalem is "their" holy city?! "Jerusalem" is NEVER mentioned in the Koran...not once!
