A couple seasons ago, Farmer made no secret about the fact that he enjoys when the Cubs do poorly. Sox management must have talked to him about that, because he doesn't "Cub-bash" anymore. (But...I DO!!! :fthecubs )

Where is all the "Cub-love"? (Brando?) I told you guys weeks ago that the cubs sucked and were not gonna make the playoffs. I do not like the Cubs at all, but, I think that Zambrano is the only cub that has any heart whatsoever. The fact that he's emotional shows that he cares. I think that if opposing players had any balls, they'd plunk Sosux after every time he does his little "bunny hop"!

You guys have hit on what has been a sore spot of mine for years...the trashing of The Cell and the glorification of Wrigley. Wrigley Field is a f***ing dump! No parking, the food sucks, the lines in the bathrooms are way too long, the hallways are too narrow, obstructed seats, lousy sightlines, and from what I understand, the facilities for opposing teams are the worst in baseball. The Cell on the other hand has everything Wrigley doesn't. Great food, tons of parking, space to move about the concourses, awesome sightlines, etc.

I agree with anyone who quotes Geddy Lee! Prospects are just that...they are prospects! A VERY small percentage of them go on to greatness, or even mediocrity. (See Ruffcorn, Ruffin, etc.) To get a proven star like Randy Johnson, it would be worth taking a chance on dumping some of our "future stars"! We want/need to win NOW! Let five years from now take care of itself.
