Yes it has. Even moreso than Coors.

Coors doesn't help getting base hits THAT much. It helps you have more power. A lot of players hit better at home anyways. Even if he only hits around .250 here, thats the same that Borch or Perez would do with the added bonus of power. That being said, I don't know if he is being shopped. The Rockies do have an option on him for next year.

He is making $1.5 million this year though. And he's hitting .298 this year. Why not? After listening to what KW said on the radio, it doesn't appear Burnitz or anybody major will be coming here though.

That's four straight years of 30+ homers and 98+ rbi. Borchard or whoever else that would be placed in RF would put up the same BA as him, so why not go get some more power? Borch would also K just as much as Burnitz.

Rex Grossman sucks in this game. In my first two games in a Bears franchise, his completion percentage was around 30% and had thrown 6 INTs and 0 TDs. I ended up trading a future first round pick and Knight for Kerry Collins from the Raiders. One thing you must do in this game is throw the ball at the right time, and not into double or triple coverage, or it might very well be picked off.

Remember when a lot of us on here were being thankful for the Twins and Cubs injuries (me not included), well it appears the tides have changed. Talk about a change in my mood today. We will see how good we are without our top two hitters next week when the Twins come to town.

One of my best moments from this year came when we were playing softball for our last practice of the year in HS. Our firstbaseman kept being annoying as hell and chanting and singing and then a line drive hit him right in the nuts, he didn't even get a glove on it. We were all on the ground laughing at him. On a similar note, I was catching for our summer league team. There was a pitch in the dirt and I slid over to stop it, but the pitch was a slider and spun right into my nuts. Ouch did that hurt, at least I had a cup on unlike the other guy.

Is he refering to Chip or Hawk, or maybe both? I don't know why people don't like Hawk, he's a great announcer IMO. He at least knows a lot about the game unlike Chip.

Hopefully I can talk my dad into taking me this weekend. He gave me $200 of bonds to be cashed for White Sox tickets for the remainder of the year as a birthday gift, so hopefully I can convince him to drive because everything else is paid for. If I don't get out there this weekend, I will be there for sure on Monday to see our Sox battle the Twins.
