I was in the UD for the first time since the HR Derby/All-Star Game last year for Monday's game and I must say I like the renovations. The only bad thing was we were in row 20, the second to last row and I had a pole obstructing my view of the Sox bullpen and deep left-field.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking. It is harder than people think for an NL pitcher to step into the AL and keep doing what they're doing. The Twins schedule is tough to add insult to injury.

Hopefully the product's little defect can be fixed for the rest of the series. It looks like Wednesday's game is gonna be sold out as well.

I'm really not that worried about Benson. He is no more than a 3 or 4 starter. He is on a hot steak right now, so they will have to overpay to get him. That would be fine with me.

He sang for us once at Comerica because we bought 5 hot dogs. I liked it.

If he could play 3B or 2B that would be great. I think he actually could if he was asked, he is old school.

Obviously you're not a catcher or you never were. And I hope that you didn't see the play yet because you would see that obviously Torri delevered a cheap shot. A play at the plate was not likely and all he had to do was run by or do a simple pop up slide and he would have scored.

I was just sitting at the game tonight thinking about what could have been without all the injuries. Our lineup could look like this: Harris/Uribe Valentin Ordonez Thomas Everett Konerko Lee Crede Davis/Alomar/Burke I know Jose is batting 2nd here, but who else would we put there? Lee or Carl?

Their reasoning was that if a catcher goes up the baseline, he is asking to be hit. No f***ing way, he was 5 feet in front of the plate about one foot up the line, he should not have been hit for any reason.

We're on the far west side of Valpo so it only takes us about an hour. For a 7 o'clock game we usually leave at about 5. The Toll Road is a lot quicker than taking 94, you avoid a whole lot of traffic.

Burke went to the hospital?! OMG I f***ing hate Torri Hunter. As a catcher I feel terrible for Jamie. There was no reason for Torri to knock him down, all he had to do was slide and he would've been safe. I was at the game and was booing as hard as anyone, but now I wish I would have booed harder knowing that Burke had to go to the f***ing hospital. :fyou Torri c***er

IIRC, this is the first half-price sellout. So now people can't say we can only fill up the stadium on half price nights. The three Cubs games were sold out, opening day, and the last two Saturday nights, once against Seattle and once against Detroit.

I can't wait to go! We are leaving in about 20 minutes. Hope for no rain!
