Just finished a game with the Bears. Beat the Chargers 31-10 behind two touchdowns from Thomas Jones and 2 picks by Peanut. The game just keeps getting better and better. I can't score at will and the passing and running games are very streaky, just like in real life. Great game.

It's a great show. It's like a cross between Cops and Sooper Troopers. I'm thinking of buying the season DVD. How much is it SNB?

I have a sign for when I stop the other team on third down, the fans hold up a sign that says "Haha f*** YOU" on it. That's all I made at the time, but I might add some more creative ones when I get a chance.

I wouldn't dare to drink our tap water. We buy the 5 gallon jugs from Coastal Valley. I'm actually drinking some now because all this water talk got me thirsty.

I think you're right. When we were camping in the Rockies the tap water was the best water I have ever tasted. I think it is actually pure water, great taste and very clear.

I hate Berman, but it's cool to see highlights of the game at halftime and they show in depth higlights, one for every score. They even show highlights of games I didn't play. It is a lot different than Madden, but different in a good way.

Aaron Rowand could easily have an average around .330 right now. He seems to hit the ball hard everytime he bats. Tonight for example, Deluchi (sp?) robbed him of an extra base hit. I am a big fan of A Row.

I sure hope we catch fire. The whole month of July has been hard to watch.

Somebody needs to tell Jose what Corpseball is. I don't see how you can call tonight corpseball? We lost to a first place team on the road, and the bullpen blew it. You can't blame the offense tonight, 4 runs isn't terrible. I don't think a bump of this thread is at all necessary.

I just finished playing my first game. This is a VERY DIFFERENT game than years past for the 2K series. The gameplay is realistic and it isn't too easy to score. You can earn rewards to buy stuff for your "crib" and the VIP mode is awesome. It records like all of what a player does and makes an AI for them, so it's like playing against one of your friends, even though they aren't there. It is a very cool new feature. I would recommend buying it to everyone, because it is well worth the $20. I don't think I'll even get Madden after playing this game. It is just like an ESPN Sunday Night Game, from pregame to halftime to postgame. For $20, you can't go wrong.

Haha, I get off of work at 6:45, just in time to pick up NFL 2K5 and then come home and watch the Sox game.

I stopped by EB Games today and put $5 down for my copy. It comes out today and I will pick it up after work. It looks like it's going to be a kick ass game, and for only $19.99, how can you refuse? Here is a review

I agree. After watching Joe this year, he is hands down the best young catcher, if not best young player in the game today. Olivo has taken time to develop and I don't think he will amount to anything more than an average to above average catcher while Mauer will be a perenial All-Star.
