I won't be able to see most of tomorrows game because I have a game at 8 and the field is an hour away. So it will be like 4 days for me. Hopefully we can break the Oakland jinx.
I agree.
But, there are a lot of Sox fans that can only afford the half price nights. Not all Sox fans are making huge bucks and can afford to pay $25 per ticket on top of parking and food.
For my family, we go down whenever our schedule has an opening and we can make it down. It doesn't matter on the day or who they play. We go to see the Sox, we don't care about the prices or competition.
Even though I hate Kobe, I would like to see him in Chicago. I've never really been into sports when a huge superstar is on my team. That would be awesome.
I say boys. I am the only boy in my family with 2 sisters and they always cry and are so damned emotional. Right now for example, my sister keeps yelling at me to clean up the cat s*** because she is too lazy. I just act like I don't see or smell the cat s*** and it stays there and I don't start a scene. Girls are too emotional, therefore, guys are much easier to raise.
My favorite "play" would have to be seeing Shingo's expression after getting a save. He always has a huge smile on his face and the crowd is going crazy.

That's how fast he was answering questions right. Now he is up to 29,400.
Edit: 40 K now.
I like the road grey the best. I think you should stay away from white. I have a white Maggs All-Star game jersey and i get stuff on it all the time. Grey is good because you won't get as hot as a black jersey if it's a sunny day at the old ballpark.
Tejada shocked me. It was great to see Shammy whiff and be eliminated in the first round. Palmerio had a good showing for being so old and Berkman did one hell of a job.
Yeah, Kenny Mayne is awesome. I would love to see him on SC and ESPN more as well. I liked in the game when he got a pie in the face while talking to Miss America and didn't even wipe it off. And then a ball came his way and he couldn't see it.
I don't know if it's been stated in the thread yet, but I heard from a friend that it would be Clement/A Gonz/prospect for Nomar. I would be happy with that trade because the Cubs would be overpaying BIG TIME. Clement is a hell of a pitcher who gets absolutely no run support. Similar to Freddy Garcia in Seattle.
Comerica is a great park. I went there a few years back for a game against the Blue Jays. The inside of the park has a lot to do, with the restaurant in LF (which came in handy b/c there was a rain delay at the game i went to) and the statues on the OF concourse. Also, next year the All-Star game will be there and my uncle is trying to get me tickets because we got him tickets for the game last year. I can't wait!
