I just got home from work and it's finally looking good.

I had lunch at school today. I thought I grabbed a Cheseburger, but I happened to grab a turkey club thing. It was so gross, but at least I had my Gatorade and curly fries.

Koch trade by far. We even got something useful for him. Meanwhile, the Twins gave up an All-Star first baseman for a single A pitcher with a history of arm problems.

That really is amazing. The A's always have a monster 2nd half and win that division. Hopefully it's the Sox year to do the same thing.

If it was Walker I wouldn't be upset, but Kenall is a piece of the long term puzzle, so I really wanted him here.

We didn't even get smores. It wasn't bad for the first night, but it got very repedative and biased.

A lot of the Bears players over the years on Fan Day at Bears Camp. Pretty much said hey to most of them, but got to actually have conversations with a lot of the lesser known guys. Man Soo Lee is awesome, talked to him for a while during a rain delay. Former President Clinton when he ventured into Michigan City for campaigning a few years back. We were walking in front of his limo and then he stopped and looked out the window and smiled and waved at me, or maybe it was my mom. Ron Kittle at a baseball camp, and his son is pretty cool. Bryce and Homer Drew are neighbors of one of my friends so I've met them. Bill Melton and Mosse Skowren at the Sleepover night. Kelly Wunsch and his family too. That's about it that I can think of now.

I'm a little late as well, but my prayers are with you. Prayer is more powerfull than anything, as I learned that this weekend. God is almighty and works in mysterious ways.

One of my friends was there. I haven't been able to talk to him since he got back cuz I've been gone, but we seemed excited for it. I'm sure he had a good time.

I had a very interesting experience this weekend in my faith. I went to the "Catholic Youth Experience". It was an experience all right. Some parts were outstanding and very inspiring, but it was just way too much stuff IMHO. They only gave us about 5 hours to sleep and the rest of the time from Friday-Sunday evening we were somewhere doing some sort of religious "experience". For 18 hours a day we were out of our dorms and it was just way too much. I am exhausted from it, but overall it was an okay weekend.

Thanks all. I was a little worried that the Twins got Lowe or something cuz people were mentioning it in the Jose and Esty thread. BTW- I still think we can make the playoffs because after the first two games of the losing streak I stopped watching so I haven't been frusterated enough to pack it in for the season now.

Thanks. What about all this talk of Derek Lowe? Did Boston really trade him to the Twins? Sorry for not knowing anything it's just that I've been cut off from society since Friday morning. And did a lot of this for the Sox and it didn't work very well for Friday and Saturday.
