Yeah I agree. My curveball, when executed correctly, breaks from a righties hips to the low and outside corner, sometimes in the dirt. It is better to be in the dirt than right in a hitters power zone. Rauch just didn't have it today. He was putting pitches right there all day and was lucky to only give up 5 runs. All this talk of curveballs is reminding me that I start on the mound Tuesday for my summer league team. It should be fun to test out my new and improved slider and curve.

I left after the fourth inning and come back to see things not much better. I might as well go do something else again.

Watching the replays, all I can say is wow. The Cubs blew that double header. Macowiak is a complete stud, with the walkoff GS and then the game tying 2-run homer in the second game. The Cubs also had the bases loaded with 0 outs in the top of the 9th in the second game and couldn't score any more. :fthecubs
